  1. mike rates his subs very conservatively

  3. double the pleasure?
  4. ok, I have to admit, I have an amplifer addiction, at first it was just with classic RF amps, kicker ZR's, Orion HCCA's, with a fwe ZED Audio produced US Acoustics... but then I started branching out my interest, and I sorta follow how are the amplifer people online and I pay attention to their choices and learn from their mistakes or good choices, guys like Josh Laine, zane (below reality), SQStephen, PerryB, and Tirefyr (aka ryan) are just a few that come to mind, so to get on with it, I have been an MB Quart follower, not always been able to afford their products, in many cases opting for lesser expensive pieces, so when Ryan orders the MB Quart right after he ordered the highly advanced JBL/Crown amp, it made me take pause, from what I understand, MBQuart could be out of business soon, I have been trying to follow here and there on the RF forums, and I remember seeing something along the lines of that RF was losing money owning MB Quart... .. I could be misinformed ... so I am curious about the risk of ordering these amplifers if the company will not be there in the future if there is a failure, (hense the reason I did not by that Onyx sub a few years ago) I am wondering if these are completly new amps, or if they are based of the new RF amps in anyway, seemed strange how close in release time between the two amplifer lines.... and the fact that the amps have "transnova", which I have only heard about with RF amplifers of a few years ago one piece of info that is missing from the specs on the website is the dampening factor of the amplifers, this has become important to me more and more recently, because I am becoming more and more worried about SQ, so if the amplifer has greater driver control the crisper the sound (to my ears) so whats the verdict on the puppies so far
  5. I need to order that 1k for my recently ordered RL-p, want to give me some info on it before I order mine
  6. Interactive Nutrition Mammoth 2500 protein - one serving post workout. Prolab Creatine - one serving post workout. I've moved the two supplement intake times around and found that this works best for me. My diet pretty well takes care of the rest. I'm looking for something affordable for joints ... especially my knees. Years and years of running, hockey, and just being on my legs has taken its toll on my knees already. I was taking joint fuel for my knee, which reminds me I need to make a run to GNC, they might still carry it I only have two more Myoplex deluxe packets, they are one of the best for sure, but for a case it is close to $200 IIRC
  7. well after much deliberation, I sent my info to squeek, so add me to it also Mike I would love if you could sign mine please, hehe I can't wait, "limited edition signature series"
  8. maybe re-download I did ... and it still doesn't work. did you remove the original plug in? oh yeah Steve if you have a flash drive to transport stuff to and from work or what ever, I am getting the files for Portable Firefox, so that wasy you can run it off the flash drive (which in the case I have seen is actually a little faster loading) and it will have all the same settings and plug ins you have installed on your home machine
  9. a clay bar is like really hard silly putty, remember how you could put the silly putty on a page of news paper and it would pull up the text and pictures perfectly? well thats the same concept with contaminants and dirt in a cars paint when you rub the clay bar over it, speaking of I should clay my car this weekend if it is nice enough on sunday
  10. yeah just big enough not to fit into the explorer to drive it home from home depot
  11. I have asked about TL's in the past with little success, I would love to try the 8 in a TL or Snail Shell box, a sub that beefy in a really nice box could work some magic, and since it needs a larger box the 8 would be the best choice for me to start with unless I could try a rl-i 10 with that design (note: my initial attempt was to put eclipse alum 10's in a double shot style box but never could nail down plans)
  12. what is the current total? I am feeling the itch to have a new daily driver sub and give my eclipse a break
  13. I vote RL-i 10's I love 10's for some reason

  18. I wanted to find out the best location for a line driver... (here by reffered to as LD) by that I mean is there benifits of having the LD close to the HU unit? or close to the amps? for example in my truck amps sit in the rear
