the sub is actually at my mothers house, because it is safer there, thats where I send all my shipped things, I just dont trust haveing something of value, (such as a prototype that other people are waiting on) dropped off in my apartment building, I live in a great complex, but I don't trust anyone, so I will have to make a run out to the house tonight or tomorrow to go get the sub, even though I would build the box there too, oh yeah nick what is the exact cut out for the prototype?

Denim, give me your max workable dims and I'll get something to you by morning. Funny thing is, I just burned all my test enclosures about a month ago. Oh well. testing being done in the explorer so space is not an issue, so I think I will stick with the 1.5 sealed anyway and 2.0 ported maybe Please throw a couple 2x4's in ther to knock it down to a cube when you get done testing the 1.5ft. I already have my box built and upholstered so i need HELP!!!

hey no worry, the more questions you ask the better, its better to know too much than not enough, I believe mrray has the same amplifer powering his, and it would work out well for you because there is a group by on the D2, we can explain the wireing if you want.. basically there are two voice coils and by haveing two that gives you more wireing options, so if your amp makes the most power at 1 or 4 ohms mono the dual 2ohm sub is the way you want to go, mrray and mike can help you with a box design, and if you do not want to build one your self, we have a few people here that can build you one for a good price, hope that helps some.. so can some hook a brother up with an exact cut sheet (sorry being lazy, and I can't install BBP or Leap at my work machine where I spend most of my time now) sealed 1.5 and maybe ported 2.0 if I have time, if ported maybe to competition size specs , if not a very low tuning please not to mention, what is the cut out of the new driver???

I am confused, is it the SSSS or the RL-s ? just curious, so people don't think I lost it, you know incase when I have mine installed and someone asks me what driver is back there and I start hissing at them

well from my experience the two ED15a's that I have heard have since failed on different occasions, the other thing is CS, Nick and Mike give some of the best CS in teh industry hands down

I think the pair of memphis would be the trick and get the 1k watt Silver Memphis to power the RL-p

from the pictures you posted, that box looks stock, WOW nice job man its like Toyota is offering RL-p's as an option to their stereo packege, anyway great work, very glad you like it, I hope to order my RL-p soon, mine will see sealed duty also, btu I might not go fiberglass, I would LOVE to put it in a TL and see what happens

WOW, I thought I was farther down the list, but I just got Nick's emails saying you have a new subbie comeing, and I was like holy crap!!!!! :dancingsmilie: anyway, to save me some time and a little frustration, could someone hook me up with the optimal sealed dimensons CUTSHEET please? I was going to take the risk and put this proto on my Orion 2500D, but I do not want to take any chances with someone elses equipment, so it will see testing time with about 490ish watts off a Cadence Z800 (ratted 450 but speced closer to 500) that way I can just run to da Depot and cut up some stuff asap, because I don't want to keep anyone else waiting, and it will have to be tested in the Explorer due to the sled not being finished enough to have testing in it, and yes I will take pictures, thank you Nick !!
