  1. oh wow you guys were busy for sure today, I read through approx 65 pages to get to here, but I was just talking to Kent about that its awesome that all parts of the board are seeing traffic now, but damn Firefox is loading the pages with all the smilies so much faster now, plus tonight I got to watch U2 get inducted into the hall of fame, that was awesome, they still sound sweet, and I have two tickets to the philadelphia show the first time they come around, but I might buy tickets to the boston show, thats when you say, WTC? denim you live in baltimore, yes well Towson (city on the north side), but if I have an excuse to get into the sled and haul arse up the highway and see an awesome show, WHY NOT
  2. attractive subs, but why the different cone materials? and I thought the motors would be larger for some reason, I am very curious about them, because they are getting ridden hard by the fan boys on Sound Domain
  3. I added both because thats what I want, hehe sorry
  4. if you are not using one of them or have not downloaded them by now, you should!!!! amangle kept telling me to do it, and I finally did, Opera get it at>> http://www.opera.com Opera is very user friendly for me, and easy to use and it imported all my IE bookmarks and so on, this being the choice when you desire features and security Firefox link>> www.mozilla.com it runs really fast and loads pages must quicker, (pretty much at the speed of Sarari, which is indigenous to Mac OSX) this being the choice for a straight up browser when you desire speed and security both Firefox and Opera and much better at pop-up blocking and better at protecting against viruses, I did some reading and the problem with IE is Microsofts ActiveX (which makes many different programs compatable across the board, like copying and pasting something from Excel to Word and them putting it up online) so I highly reccomend you guys switch to either Firefox or Opera if you don't want to listen to me, ask amangle (our resident computer guru)
  5. that was a ton of reading, but I am anxious for the new D2's also, thinking of unloading the H2 for a pair of D2s off the 2500D, that is going to hurt my car, but once again money is teh uber tightness, need to nail the new job bad, anyway thats another subject, I still have an extra pair of p6.2 components BNIB for sale $160 !!! ........... more to say but dont feel like doing it, out

  11. wow what happened!!!!! any way JUSTIN, we want people to come to SSA and not go there!!
  12. for me the Caddliac and 300C are not on my list because they are not proven, they are new to market and there are going to be bugs that need to be worked out, I will never trust anything Chrysler, it may seem flashy and very cool now, but their quality, (and this is with a ton of experience) is very sub par IMO, they skimp in the wrong places, it might have a nice engine, but all it the HEMI is a same old same old V8 with just hemispherical heads, it is a huge marketing scheme, and with the Caddilac, remember the Catera? it was the Opel sourced RWD mid-sized, the quality and fit and finish on that car was better IMO than the new replacement, and keep in mind I have been to the Opel factory in Germany, and I know they make very decent cars GM is really pulling the wool over the public's eyes, buy trying to give the apperance of making the CTS and the other up comming versions, a BMW 3 series beater, WRONG, just because you slap a V8 in a mediocre chassis does not mean you made a better car, I will take a lower horse power motor and a better build/engineered/tuned/designed etc. chassis and suspension then a average car with a large motor in it, then it is more on the skills and abilities of the driver and not some goober just slamming his foot to the floor, if it comes to that, but in Steve-o's case, he does not need huge power, milage is a factor that has to be taken seriously a previous chassis BMW 530i or MB 320 are both well proven cars with excellent engineering, people need to see the over all cost and not the initial cost, repairs are going to more on the germans, but if your keeping up with the preventative mantince the overall cost will be less when you get better milage, better reliablilty, and much more miles out of the transmission and motor, sorry for the rant
  13. I am sorry, me and Amanda are sitting here talking about her job, she does not like the hours, even though she loves the job she is just telling me about other ideas and different options and stuff
  14. the TL is very nice, some amazing drive train and a very smooth engine for sure, but I prefer the MB over it, but thats me the new GS is out, pretty sexy car, but I have not driven it yet, I am just focusing on something that is going to be able to get through the crappy weather that has great reliability, and is proven while having decent milage the X-type is a capable car for sure, but I am not sure it will be enough for you on the long hauls across the empty highways, but I am not too sure about the Saab's yet, not sure really how much GM has really helped them out with design of the existing models before the merger
  15. want me to post something on the Impala forum? i'll take that as a yes... do you have a prewritten message or something or any specifics you want me to say? just suggest a that there is a quality Audio/Computer forum out there with some of the most knowledgable moderators
  16. want me to post something on the Impala forum?
  17. steve I vote for the E320 with the 4Matic, reliability, decent milage, good power, safe sled, the E350 is coming out soon!! I am hesitant about Audi's so many friends have had reliabilty issues recently, also I am not sure if the V8 5 series is going to be the best option when you have long streches, but a 530i would be a sweet rig with the manual if your interested take a look back at the Volvo S40 article I did, I really like that car, the milage is good the space is sweet, and the performance is nice, with the manual and AWD it should fit your needs
  18. you can still get tight puchy bass from a ported box, but if you have never liked a ported sound before maybe you should run sealed

  20. to add to the Kicker and MTX that mrray posted, the Orion 600D is a very worthy addition, all three will do over 600 watts easy and have plenty of power for the RL-p
  21. I want to get more members over here, we need more traffic
