if my computer was in the same room as the tube, I would have been posting during the power block with you guys, I still love Danika Patrick its not to bad out today, but I dont have enough time to build anything because its my girls mom's b-day and tomorrow my uncles funeral, so this is a non-building weekend for me- New Toy
wow lots of work, but it will pay off- ghetto b-b-b0x
true, I do like those old Premier amps- First Looks: SoundSplinter RL-i Series 8" Driver
Wish I could.. but unfortunately this is bread and butter, and bread and butter isn't free understandable but if you're ever looking for a reviewer great idea, because I need a topic for my next article- some pics
- Rl-i 12"s
to be honest, I dont think that amp will do a true 1200, plus they do not need that much power to get a lot out of them- Welcome to the IHoP
updates...? All went well....?? it went well, might get a call back for the next round- setup, what sub and amp should I get?!?
they are a dual voice subs, you would need an amp that does 2 ohms if the sub is dual 4- Rl-i 12"s amp
I personally would look into the MTX 800 watt 2ohm mono amp, also RF makes a 600 and so does Kicker and ORion, just for some ideas- she's so SEXY!!!
pix when you get it installed would be awesome- setup, what sub and amp should I get?!?
from what I understand we could flip a coin on the RL-p and D2 and be very happy either way, its a win win choice, just that the D2 is not finished quite yet but it will be soon I believe that Sound Splinter is dropping the DVC2 ohm models for now, not sure- Rl-i 12"s
Mrray mentioned some great amps, something that will do 700 - 1000 @ 4 or 1ohms would be great, if not you could look into two smaller 2ohm amps to power each sub, (meaning one amp per sub) here is a good price on an RF mono amp http://www.cardomain.com/item/ROC4FRP6002 or an even better price on a nice DEI ( each sub seeing about 600, which might be more than they need but great price) http://www.cardomain.com/item/DEI45015 if not here is the smaller model http://www.cardomain.com/item/DEI45013 I hope that gives you a few ideas- Realistically unlimited budget system: What would
Jesse, sorry I have not been on AIM much recently, work and interviews all the time is killing my online time, anyway, I would suggest having Brian look into the Stereo Integrity D2 and the Sound Splinter RL-p, both subs you are getting more sub for the money than the RE XXX, have Brian read the test that Mrray did on the XXX and the RL-p, ontop of that the RL-p and new D2 do not need a ton of power to get crazy loud and sound good doing it I say have him run a pair of 12's and maybe 2 750 watt amps- Welcome to the IHoP
Mobil 1 goes in the sled, and a synthetic blend goes into the truck- Welcome to the IHoP
big interview tomorrow- My New Car!
looks in awesome shape, what motor and suspension mods are you doing it>?- Welcome to the IHoP
wow the IHOP has slowed down some, anyway just checking in for a few to see how the board is doing, have to run back to work now, might be back late- Welcome to the IHoP
sorry guys, this week has been one to remember, some very big highs and some very bad lows, and its only tuesday night and things are going to be rough all the way through sunday, I will give the update a news later, not in the best mind set, anyway Ryan, you mentioned the Instacharger, I remember it very well, because I had been saving for it for months and BBK kept putting it off and putting it off, and it finally came out one month after the 3rd tranny snapped, so no dice on more boost, but if the truck can hold togethor for one more year, or I install the 3rd motor the Instacharger would be a blast to slap on about 45-55 extra hp, and with all the mods I have done to the motor as it stands it could pull a little more, that is if the transmission does not snap 10 rotations of the drive shaft after instalation, crap I am rambeling, pass out time- PBX
first off let me welcome you to SSA, and yes the PBX's are capable of getting very loud, I believe 750 watts per sub would really get them going, but you can probably send more no sweat, on the Power Bass web site there is an excellent .pdf file with many different box designs, for all kinds of usage- Welcome to the IHoP
