just bought one
the 3115 is more of an SPL sub, both are very capapble, but the Sound Splinter has the ability to have better SQ, also the Sound Splinter does not need as much power to get it going, and if I am guessing right, the sound splinter is a little better suited for smaller boxes than the RF, dont get me wrong I love the RF, I personally want to grab one myself for daily beating, but the RL-p is a slightly better sub for all around use IMO

Kent you are going to go deaf if you run 2 soloX's and the orions good thing you don't have to hear to post or make boxes- Old School
i have no idea what is going on, I am just glad people like to come back to SSA on a regular basis- How much for L7?
many of the KX1200s have been over the 1450watt range, giving close to 500 per sub, and in the right sized ported box that is plenty for the L7- 10W3 VID
- What wire you use?
I have to check but I think it is DEI 12g- Welcome to the IHoP
off to the chineese buffet!- rl-p SQ/SPL compared to ED O.v2 SQ/SPL

4 8's would be cool but thats just what I want to run for fun, but Ihave messed with the newest L7's some, and they can get a little louder than the lasty two versions, and seem to take a little more of a beating - ** Looking for specs on an amp **
