better sound seperation, better staging, more controlled mid bass, crisper highs, more power handeling (in some cases)

if you are reffering to the RE's they are more of a sub than mid bass

the Planet or the Viper seem to be a great choice

the Jackhammer might show up on MTV cribs

there are a few guys in the area running Visonik, but I have not used them yet so I don't trust them yet, awful lot of power per dollar
