if your interested, I believe that CBRstereo.com is haveing a great sale on HX2 15's for like 120, and you could put them in a serious box built by Jamie or Kent, and James can design it for flat out SPL if that is your hope, it would not be that expensive over all with the cost of the subs, I along with a few other guys on here know the ability of those subs and that they dont need excessive amount of power to get loud, that way you would have an advantage on the JLs in consurface for sure

on a related note, I would love to get a pair of huge Large Box Cerwin Vegas for daily stereo usage, I have some acient Pioneers, (both sets older than I) but I loved teh purity of the Cerwin Vegas, But I would love to learn how to build a nice HT box where size is not a big deal

I think that model might have been pre DEI maybe, not sure, there was a but load of them in the WRX CES clarion demo car and they were each powering a sub and the was very clean and tight

from what I understand, paper is the best for keeping true to natural sound, other cone materials can lend to better cooling, faster more accurate reproduction of sound, some are better for structural integrity at great loads, but which is the best for what??? not sure here, Mike from SS or Randy from PB cold help
