  1. Rhonda! Yea she sucks! My legs hurt today, that bitch!!!! I'm glad you guys are getting to it with the fitness.
  2. Thanks Aaron. I think I'll give it a shot. I'm not trying to compete with it or anything like that. Just want to make sure it sounds solid and is still very punchy for daily use. Sounds good. It's a zero cost option.
  3. The Icon does not need bonkers amount of power. I vote to try it sealed @ 4 ohms, maybe add some polyfill or acoustastuff and see how you like it. If you feel the drop in power to the subwoofer is effecting the output to your disliking, then switch back to 1ohm mono and set the gains consevratively. If it helps, for many stretches in the past, I was using an Orion 2500D at 4 ohms mono (600ish) or US Acoustics 2075 at 4 ohms mono (240ish), and the output was not SPL figure worthy, but plenty in a smaller car.
  4. Uh what? " CUSTOM HURRICANE TYPHOON "
  5. That's still crazy. Even at my strongest, I have not quite hit 350.
  6. My joints don't like heavy, muscles like exercise though. Same, but I can't seem to stay away from the heavy stuff for too long. I up my cardio and super-sets, but the big heavy weights just keep pulling me back in.
  7. The gemma pea protein needs to be washed out asap because it is so clumpy.
  8. You will be fine. My Draconia-II is daily running at 2 x 8 ohm for 1/2 & 2 x 4 ohm for 3/4.
  9. The RX8 has not been dug out of the snow just yet. If you want to shoot me a PM, go for it.
  10. Day just slowed down.
  11. Yes, 31hz. You're not too far from me IIRC?
  12. Did you check out our free 3D models for down load?
  13. Sorry to do this to you, but I am not a fan of Mazda. The Genesis is really solid. I just did some work on one , normal 60K stuff. Hyundai has come a long way, while most manufacturers seem to be going backwards. Don't say sorry. May I ask why? Both of mine have been great to me and I have one from each end of the spectrum of their offerings. No complaints here outside of sheer horsepower. Just from a mechanic's perspective. Ford ideology abounds, reliability is weak at best. They have gotten worse over the years, by huge strides. I had no huge issues with 90s Mazdas, although I would not personally own one, but their recent stuff borders on Mitsubishi junk. Rotarys run strong, but again reliability is an issue. They are leaky pigs, and diagnostics is odd, as the design really creates odd looking pids/scan tool info. That is the perspective I was hoping for, because it is part of what makes SSA a better place. Not just a little experience here or there, but certified master's in their respective field. As for reliability, I drive the living snot out of the protege5 and it has never really let me down outside of one blown tire. But then again, there is not much to go wrong on it. I do prefer it over, what seems to be much more Ford infused, the newer 3 models, mostly due to the lines and ease of use to work on. But again, power is not it's strong suit. I have not driven (discounting RX8's) any of the very new Mazda's. My RX8 has faired well too, no major issues to speak of and it is 50/50 driver/track time. No oil leaks at this time, but I will keep an eye out. I was kind of asking as I like to start the research process about a year at least, in advance. At this time, since I paid cash for the P5 and it is the least expensive car I have ever owned to keep on the road, so it makes no sense to ditch it unless there is a catastropic repair or Sean DeYoung steals it from me.
  14. At least Fi and DC have specific upgrades. Not sure what "high performance" means. Right from their site: "High Performance" option. Here’s what all upgrades you’ll get for the Platform 2 Series 15": Extended length aluminum flatwound voice coil Dual stiff spider suspension Dual stitched heavy gauge leadwires I honestly don't understand all the hate PSI gets around here, especially from people who have not used the product. I don't have a ton experience with PSI but from what I have used, they are comparable to many of the other brands that receive blind praise. Thanks for the info. It's not just on this site that ive seen PSI bashing, lots of different places ive looked have said bad shit about them. I partially agree with you on the blind praise that the other brands get. If I look on SMD for info about subs DC almost always wins. But ive heard DC Fi Aq ect but not PSI. DC? I got you bro!

  16. Ahhh I just don't want to wait so long to get a replacement, it took my Zcon a month and a half to get to my house how long would a recone take to ship? Recone's take about the same time.
  17. Zcon's + Surfboard =
  18. Could have sworn you were talking about MD for a second.
  19. I HIGHLY suggest sticking with the coil/spiders/cone/surround that was designed for the Zcon. I promise, getting "custom" bits from someone throwing parts that fit, with zero testing and no specs, is not an upgrade.
  20. If the Gcon comes back in stock in time, consider it too.
  21. Since everyone else is doing it... Seth, just wondering your thoughts on: Speed3 (1st gen) Genesis Coupe
