  1. Very sorry to hear that thor, wish them the best.
  2. Today is crawling by super slowly.
  3. Always find it funny when the Yankees beat the Orioles, it is headline news on ESPN, but when it is the other way around, even a walk-off, the coverage is no where to be found.
  4. Ok, I think I am down to: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sennheiser-HD428-Stereo-Headphones-/200649062363?pt=Other_MP3_Player_Accessories&hash=item2eb79db7db#ht_1718wt_977 http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=242-500 http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=241-421 http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=250-834 http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-D40fs-Precision-Enhanced-Headphones/dp/B0002H0GR8/ref=sr_1_85?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1315591815&sr=1-85
  5. Not sure I like the wheels, but that would be nutty to drive.
  6. My Ray Ban's have been great. They got snapped twice, my fault, sent them into Ray Ban, nearly totally new glasses are sent back 6 weeks later.
  7. The 3rd looks the least comfortable? Check out the freq responce on headroom Of those three, I need to figure out if the 203's are enough, or if the 555's are worth the price over the 515's, or even the 448's of ebay for a good price. Do you need closed back? If not I have some Grado SR 225's I can send your way Well it is for my office, and I cannot really have sound projecting out. Do the Grado's leak much and are they over the ear? They are over ear, but vented to the outside, IB style I was just checking them out. Look to be really nice. Is there that much music that escapes outward? Yes, quite a bit is heard outside the 'phones Crap, was really liking the reviews on them.

  9. That is the difference with SSA.
  10. We should be able to turn them back on come Monday.
  11. Sounds like our goal for the Xcon was reached for you.
  12. True.
  13. There are a few of these super elite brands left. The ones that spend so much on the appearance and presentation, I really question where the money that you pay is going towards. Clearly, the ratio of performance to non-performance dollars is probably lower then most. It can be the same on the very low end also, with super showy products that are cheap. For me, the goal is to find something that lies in the middle that puts very high amounts of production money towards the quality and performance of the product, or at least that is how I gear our company.
  14. Yes, that is part of my challenge. Like to keep them under $75, but could splurge a little. Will be used in an engineering office, so sound really should not leak out. Over the ear is preferred. Respectable frequency range. No chrome (some Sennheiser's have chrome for some reason). Long cord as I have a very large desk and don't want to be tethered close to my machine each time I have to move over to look at drawing plots. Most listening at the office will be digital streaming, listening at home will be a mixture of the same and records. Essentially would like near reference quality with out near reference quality price that go over the ear.
  15. Shame, the price of these 202's are pretty tasty: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sennheiser-HD-202-MK-II-Professional-Headphones-Black-/260850160293?pt=Other_MP3_Player_Accessories&hash=item3cbbe192a5#ht_2297wt_1139 Its been awhile since I wore them (years) but I think my problem was at that time I was wearing glasses and it would push my ear against the glasses uncomfortably. Since you have good vision you probably won't have that problem. Now, how would you know how good my peepers are?
  16. Never had a pair of Pioneer headphones, but these are interesting: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=250-834

  18. Get them installed and shoot me a PM.
  19. I would not mind a Mercedes Sprinter Van. Drove a couple, I like them for what they are.
