I don't mean to give you a bad impression, but car audio is not a high paying career, and engineering does not pay all that great either. I should know as I do both now. It takes a lot of experience, work and time to be remotely close to some like Scott. There are very few that are in a position like him, and far less can do what he does at the level he does it.

Tune the DP's in the low 30's, and build a strong braced box to IA's spec's and you should have plenty output without loss of clarity.

Dcon or 187, it is a win win. Both have a great track record. I am biased, but either will be a quality choice, both in clarity and output in a small enclosure with minimal power.

The IDMAX is a decent driver, but the Fi Q is better in pretty much every way, including performance per dollar. Like said above, please provide more info to help us guide you in the right direction.

Those are all very nice amps, I have one of those REV's myself, it is a very hefty well built amplifier. But please don't try to side step the rules.
