Sorry. It seems to get a lot of traffic, so I thought it would be an appropriate place. The subs are Dual 2 ohm. Also, I can buy subs without any posts, yet I need 25 to sell them. Kind of backwards. Incorrect. Not backwards in the slightest. Please follow the rules set in place for a reason. A site this large and this old with this many experienced staff members, is not going to have backwards rules.
  3. The three songs Adrian hooked me up with from M1.
  4. Very original.
  5. If they sell it to you below MAP pricing, then the product will not carry a warranty.
  6. This applies with anything you want to buy worth any value. You seek what other people say, would you buy car worth 30 grand that will only last 100,000 miles and will need constant maintenance? or would you buy a quality car that could last double that with minimal upkeep? RD is very very shady. Personally customer service for me is 90% of the appeal to me 10% of the product. If something breaks (and its inevitable) I want to be able to have a quick response and be able to get things repaired in a timely manner. He wasn't speaking on customer service, he was speaking on performance. Based on the mix and match parts for some of the drivers, entire amp model failure, recalled amps, and drastically over ratted amp model and high failure rate of another, I think that is more then enough to speak on their product performance. I don't know anything about RD besides what I've read in this and a few other threads so I'm sure you're right. I'm not claiming to know much about the subject. wolf said that RD was a great product, people disagreed and went on to cite customer service problems and "shady" dealings to support their argument. If you're arguing about a product's performance give reasons to persuade someone to agree with you. I really have no opinion one way or the other, but this type of arguing is pretty prevalent on car audio forums. Two or more people will be arguing about something but it's as if they're not reading each other's posts and replying with the same rhetoric over and over. A lot more can be learned from a substantive argument. I was not arguing, just wanted to reinforce why the two brands should not be used in the same sentence.
  7. When you have a business, and a customer is brought into "the business environment" you want them to feel as comfortable as possible. You want the person to be comfortable. I like the site a lot, having an experience with someone I feel is having an attitude towards me leaves me feeling uncomfortable. When being left feeling uncomfortable, one doesn't always feel that they will come to back to give business or support to the business, in this case a forum. The site has a store and also has several advertisements for other sites, but we all know that. The the thing is, when a "respected" member behind the team comes out with an attitude... I get the same impression if an ass on a used car lot comes out trying to screw me, I'm not giving that place my business. Its the same concept here, so one member can reflect the whole site(which I do love). I myself apologize if I did anything "wrong ", I ask what I did in order to learn from my mistake but am still left with unclear answers. Mentioning I need to "listen", and "learn"... not telling me really anything, I didn't do nothing bad as far as I know ( if questioning someone is bad, I guess I deserved a ban then). I like this site, I do listen to the advice of others, and learn from it as well. I think you are blurring the lines between the different entities of SSA, which is very easy to do. But the SSA forum is not the business, if we charged for membership, then it would be a different story. The SSA forum is a privately owned forum, that is linked to the SSA Store, but the SSA forum is not a business. Sean (///M5) is not an employee of the SSA Store or brand, nor is he even a customer, he is a member of the staff of the SSA forum which is not paid. He is apart of the staff due to his high level of knowledge and experience in relation to audio. The only people on this forum that represent SSA the company / store / brand, are Mark (ssaudio) and me. This should be evident by who over see's the SSA Store forum section and the SSA speaker brand forum section. There are brands on here that the SSA Store does not sell, and every staff member outside the two owners, do not represent the company / store / brand. Heck, the SSA forum staff all pretty much buy their products from places like Madisound or PE, not the SSA store. Now if they (SSA forum staff) were employees of SSA the brand / Store / company, then this place will be no longer be an unbiased resource of source of information on audio. There are plenty of product pushing forums out there, SSA has integrity and is not one of them. I hope that clears up any confusion you might have had.

  9. As I have followed the Terps my entire life, literally. My mother walked across the stage 9 months pregnant with me at College Park for her PhD. So anyway, I clearly know what to expect from a game at Duke. But for shiggles I kept track of 15 straight foul calls that I was able to hear on the radio while driving, 14 of the 15 were called on the Terps. Gee I wonder why Duke won big again. I mean just make it less obvious as I know the calls will always be screwed bad, but make it less blatant.
  10. Keep up the good work.
  11. Now that the list is down to reputable companies, lets start over. Other than power handling, what are your goals, budget etc.? (The info that is stated in the member guidelines). More info please.
  12. Holy crap no way. You are condoning doing business with the shadiest internet car audio company EVER. Just plain wrong, even if his stuff performed which in general it doesn't it would be a completely idiotic maneuver to buy anything from Steve. 1 minute of searching and you'll find at least 50 people he's screwed. Really easy. :( You have to give it to them, they supplanted eDuh for the top spot and they are barely holding off T3, but not by much, for that title.
  13. RD is great quality ? Based on the business practices of RD, rd and ssa shouldn't be in the same phrase. "oh, we're going to call back all the amps and you have to take a hit because of our fuck-up" I replied before I saw your post, but yeah that is horrible. At this point, I just feel sorry for the people who are either too blind or are just clueless and still think it is a good idea to buy their products.
  14. I appreciate your input, but please try not to associate or compare our products with theirs. That company has screwed and burned countless customers, while Mark and I bust our butts, 7 days a week on constantly making SSA better. And because we don't like to our customers or push product on people, or have hype or fan boys, we don't sell near the numbers of that company. Quite shameful, that this industry breeds "brands" that thrive on filling gullible or inexperienced minds full of lies and BS to push their product. I don't want to be be remotely compared to, or even in the same sentence with another "brand" that has done the horrible things RD has, such as selling broken, faulty or fried products as new.
  15. That is so my wagon.
  16. Sick!!
  17. how is this coming along? I would just post up which VCM Kit you need and then PM denim. That way he knows what you need. I am a few days behind on updating the shop. I will have them up shortly.
  18. Lots of work ahead.
  19. I am a little confused by the ratings myself, doubling power output with an increase of only 2.4 volts with the same resistance.
  20. Quality (as in build) should always trump Quantity (as in power). That is something many people on here and even more so on other sites fail to realize.
  21. That flare is sweet.
  22. I missed it apparently.
