SSD or Q 15's
Better in what way? These drivers all have a different intended purpose, so the question is better for what, as in it depends on the goals of the install with in the budget allowed.

Hi
- Welcome to the IHoP
I'm getting ready to head out there too. Gotta get rid of these damn leaves. I had been raking a little daily. But it has rained for 3 days now, so what has fallen is stuck for now.- ZED Audio amplifier group buy
you said this 2 days ago on the diymobileaudio forum Yes, I did not get through, so I will call again on Monday.- Welcome to the IHoP
I should click this post just for the fun of it to mess it up. But no need to.- Second Skin USACI Event
Mark and Buzz, that was good. Buzz would be a great Billy Mays for halloween.- Welcome to the IHoP
No flooring sponsors?- Welcome to the IHoP
I had a dream last night that Bobby Valentine of the Mets, wanted me to play OF. And how did it go? Did you wake up thinking you could have a future in baseball? The odd thing, is that my mothers side are Red Sox fans, and I am an O's fan. Not sure how the Mets got in there.- Welcome to the IHoP
I had a dream last night that Bobby Valentine of the Mets, wanted me to play OF. And how did it go? Did you wake up thinking you could have a future in baseball? He was just telling me about playing in NYC, we were drinking whiskey, but junior came thumping in yelling as he always does "the sun is up daddy WAKE UP!"- Welcome to the IHoP
OT the site or OT here?- SSA forums on the Big-Boards.com listings
2188- Welcome to the IHoP
Not touching Neo, our build costs are high enough as it is. Might consider a single slug under hung model in the future. The Dcon is pretty light weight. I know I like my under hungs. Yeah I know. But I don't want to get too risky and jump into a very costly to build driver that is super niche. I have thought about doing something with a different motor tech for the next get Icon.- Welcome to the IHoP
Looking good. What are they going into?- Welcome to the IHoP
The governator? The '03-04 Cobras are called Terminators. That was their prototype designation from Ford prior to production. You need to get a new GT500 and swap in an IRS.- SSD or Q 15's
Can you take a peak at the new member topics in my signature, they will help you shape your topic a little better so it can be much more effective in your search.- Rate the 18"s
The Xcon does not really fit in that list, it is the apple in the bag of oranges. But the quality of the Mayhem, BTL and Xcon are all quite close.- Is this guy serious?
He must be of the mis-conception that cone size totally dictates range of frequency and cancellation does not exist. We get a emails here and there were people have a pair of 10's and they want to add 18's.- Welcome to the IHoP
The governator? Then how will he be able to reach 88mph?- Welcome to the IHoP
Not touching Neo, our build costs are high enough as it is. Might consider a single slug under hung model in the future. The Dcon is pretty light weight.- Zapco C2K 9.0 to BTL
Would someone like to do a video demonstration to settle this disagreement?- suggestion on 12" subs in a ported box
Heck for a while, I did not have my subs coming in until 53hz.- high scores?
The SSA demo truck is Mark's daily driver, and the 4500D is more of an extreme competition amplifier, not to mention it is more power than the Xcon's are meant to take, and more then we want people thinking they can throw at them.- Welcome to the IHoP
I hate that mine is boxed up. Don't feel bad, my shit is so ghetto. I have the 880 running into some POS soundstream amp I won on SIN a long time ago. It's a 2 channel amp running full range to a set of MLIs in the doors and some BG Neo 3s just setting in the kicks held in by magnetic force and crossed with a cap at 2K. The amp is mounted on the sub box (CV IT10s sealed in 1.2 cubes) which isn't even being used and is smashing around into all my tools in the trunk. I keep saying I'm going to get a new DD, so it's all just temporary, but I still haven't seemed to get rid of it. Priceless. Maybe we can get an Xcon in your next DD. I'm sticking with the CVs. They work in tiny enclosures, are super efficient, and sound great. If I end up keeping the GT, I'm going to glass some enclosures on either side of the trunk for the XL-10s I still have to use. I did not know you like Vega's that much. The XLs are one of my top 5 favorite subs. Why was I thinking they needed larger enclosures, much like the Vega Vega's? The XLs DO need large enclosures. On the order of 1.5-2 cubes vented for the 10s. The IT series I have in the V6 were the replacements for their Accurate Image series drivers from the mid-to-late 90s. They were geared towards efficiency and small sealed enclosures. Ahh. - Welcome to the IHoP
