How to add pics
Can you give me a little direction on how to upload them into the gallery? I havent been very successful at that. I would like to be able to have the pic come up without a link to photobucket. If you have not created your user gallery, start with that first. Once you have your user gallery set up then you can upload pictures to it. You might be able to upload directly to the post too, but those will not go into your gallery. Below the text box in the full posting window, there is a button that says click to attach files. If your user account has permission, you can use that feature.

I love our BMW I-6, just wish it had more power, or the car was substantially lighter. Personally, I would prefer the I-6 over the V8 for my preference. Actually I prefer I-6 over any other engine arrangement, if they are done right, such as the long running BMW's and the I-6's of Mercedes past.- Welcome to the IHoP
Rambo. But Predator vs. Rambo, I'd have to go Predator. Arnold got lucky. Cold mud > Predator > flaming Corvair's > Blue screen of death > Keith Olberman.- posters?
We do need a model or spokeswoman for any major shows in the future. that would be a def plus id buy a banner or poster my dorm walls are very plain and boring. mark can i have ur banner in ur office? If you are talking about the large white one, then heck NO!! That cost us a crap ton of money and we need to get a lot more use out of it.- SSA member account updates

I have around 4-4.5 ft^3 of space available, what would be a good size for this setup? Thanks for your input. If you go Icons, they will love that box, so will the Q's I believe. My only downfall is that I just went to a local car audio shop to ask them some questions about building my box unless I have my own set of tools by then, they looked up the subs parameters and were trying to pu them into WinISd Pro. I was telling him that I wanted a box around 4-4.5ft^3 @ 30-31Hz, he was saying lets let the program decide what will be best so after loading it into WinISD it said I should tune around 35-40Hz because he usually looks to where the box has a 12db peak at (thats the frequency he will use to tune the box at and 40Hz was the highest). I was like those arent even the recommendations of what the company said to roll with, is using WinISD good to design boxes and if so is there a way I can get the full T/S Parameters for a Icon 12"D1 and Xcon 15"D2 so I can use them in WinISD? The shop also tried calling you guys from the number on your homepage and it didnt work so I just wanted to let you guys know that if you didnt already. The VOIP modem is having issues, we will have it working soon. IF you want, you can PM me for our other number. The Icon D1 specs are close enough to the D2 specs that you can use those, and the Xcon D2 specs are on the SSA Store (link at the top). Also, real life experience in vehicle testing >> WinISD. I would never suggest tuning anything like an Icon or a Q in the 40hz range. They need to be in the high 20's to low 30's for a quality daily driver.- Welcome to the IHoP
the 5.3 is the best deal going right now, IMO. 300+ hp for ~$500. and they're more reliable, efficient, and leak free than a SBC. also, I have huge upgrade potential. a L92 headed LQ9 will basically drop in now and give me 450+ to the wheels or I could just stick a real cam in the 5.3 and have ~370 to the wheels. or I could go totally nuts and get a LSX block. they will all drop in now without a whole lot of upgrades since I overbuilt the clutch, trans, headers, and exhaust. Wow, $500 for 300hp. I think you made the best choice for this project, because cam's are much cheaper. Plus would be easier then another drop in. I have had dreams of trying to find a wrecked '92 500E (345hp DOHC 5litre Porsche/MB V8 from the early-90's) and doing a swap-in and having the only 500ce in existence. But they made so few of the 500E and brought even less to the USA, not to mention it would be insanely $$, and my current I-6 runs absolutely mint with 175k on it.- Welcome to the IHoP

Tom, just read your entire BL on LS1 tech. Very cool, quite an upgrade. Can I ask, why you chose that engine? Was it the best fit, or just a great bargain, or mix of a bunch of factors?- Welcome to the IHoP

If this works, this will be a killer deal!- 2 12s or 1 15?
Is this for a certain install?- what 2-15" on a saz3500d
If pure output is the goal, the Fi BL, Mach5 SPL, Sundown Nightshade, and IA DP's are all great suggestions. THe Mach5 gets overlooked often and it is a very good driver especially for the money.- what subs should i get...
I like this idea, if you are set on 2 12's. Did you consider a single 15? - Sander's BMW E34
