Kove has not been around or active in a long time. Last I saw, they were bought, well at least the name brand was bought by US Amps and recently they made a "new" Kove sub that was essentially an RE SX or beefed up SE from what I was told. If you can provide pictures of your sub it might help out.

Make sure you research each of the companies before you buy. Also, listen to what TireFryr and a few other guys said about your amp load and direction for drivers. Make sure this is really what you want and that you can fit four 18" drivers in a proper enclosure.

Wow. Start checking every wire you can, stereo and non-stereo, to see if there is a ground out somewhere.

We had a PowerBass forum here for a long time. But they went through a number of reps in a very short time (Johnny, Randy, Randy and someone else I forget). Anyway, after Johnny moved away, no one would follow up on the emails and left the forum go stagnant so we turned it off.
