  1. Maybe more people are posting in the main sections, or the old iHop regulars are scared of the new software?
  2. She is a cutie Nick!
  3. Nice battery.
  4. x2, go ahead and get the SSA 15" XCON and Sundown SAZ-1500D combo at the store. I like this idea.
  5. There is a (2) Dcon 12D4 + SAX-125.2 package. KU40 makes a good point, if you plan to upgrade, the Icon D2 + SAZ-1000D has been a very successful combo with loads of happy customers.
  6. I don't remember seeing that pic.
  7. Just replied to your email.
  8. The 2000D is a great choice.
  9. The 2000D is a grat choice.
  10. A couple of things, don't be so worried about perfectly matching power ratting of amp and sub, worry about setting th amp gain properly. Strapping is the term / processed used when running more then one amplifer to a single speaker, keep in mind though that the amps have to have the capability to be strapped and they have to be the same model. Based on how the topic has gone so far, I think th e BL ported and tuned nice and low would b a good choice for a single sub set up, if not consider a pair of SSD's.
  11. In the countless enclosures I had in my explorer over the years, for daily driving and best low end performance, I had the best results from rear fire/rear port enclosures. For SPL competitions, then I fired up and ported either up/drivers side/rear. So if you are considering rebuilting and use this primarily for daily, keep that in mind. But yes, do what you can to maximize the current flow to your amplifier, Big3, largeer wire, second run of power and ground, larger capacity or second battery etc.
  12. Fi does not suggest sealing the SSD 15", you could save a few dollars more if you want to stay Fi and get the Q 15 and seal that.
  13. Welcome to SSA, simply the best audio site on line.
  14. The Sundown is a great choice for 4 dual 2 ohm sub's. The sale price does not hurt either.
  15. I was thinking, with out really knowing the goals of this install, that 4 Dcon 10's and a Phoenix Gold RSD 1200.1 would be a sweet set up for the money.
  16. Tell us how you like it once installed.
  17. Some quality choices in you price range that should be on your list are: Fi SSD 12" ported or 15" sealed Mach5 IXL 12 or 15 IA Lethal Injection
  18. Prefer these over a single Vega in a monster ported box? You make me want to bring my old MTX BT's out.Whatt amp are you using?
  19. That is great to hear.
  20. The standard SSD will handle up to the rms fine, just like every other Fi sub.
  21. sorry to hear that man. I hope they are able to stop it and get rid of it before it spreads We will be crossing our fingers for her. Both mine and my wifes family are too familiar with it, so I wish her and your family good luck!
  22. We replied to your email a little while ago and should have more info shortly. Moving to proper section.
  23. This topic is not providing enough information. For all I know, a pair of SSD's would be more then enough for your needs. I would suggest starting a different topic for your components.
  24. Did not know you had some older CV's.
