We have an outstanding enclosure designer that knows our subs extremely well and he was the one that did the freebie 3D models that people can download.

I only adjusted it limiting the amount of rep per day members can give, so there isn't rep spam. But I made this topic in regards to the usage and abuse of it. I wasn't trying to start more fights, I was trying to spark a conversation about it. As it is meant to be about the content, not the person.

I don't post dyno results. We don't have amps..... yet.

Mark met him once a good number of years ago. We do ZERO business or contact with him and it will stay that way. I don't think I have seen any of our members posting dyno results. Maybe a manufacturer, but not a member.

Ok, this didn't really go as I thought it would. Maybe we need to make a poll to decide the purpose/direction of the rep system to avoid abuse. I kind of prefer civil approaches to things. Damn hippy parents.

I have noticed, as well as a few people have messaged me about it, abuse of the rep system. It is just a simple forum feature for people to have a little reaction to a singular post based on the content of that post, be it positive if it is a beneficial post or if you really like the content, or negative if it is detrimental or you really don't like the content. Not something to have a personal vendetta against another user to down vote every post of theirs. Personally, I feel it is ok to have both the positive and negative if the system is not going to abused. But, if it is going to continue to be abused, I will turn off the negative option and we can move to being like other forums where it has to be a safe place and we can't have any critical thinking.

Can we focus on what the OP needs pretty please? Nice find on the MMATS amp, I appreciate them simply for the fact they are made here in the USA. We carried MMATS for a short bit. As for the question at hand, I am a little unsure due to the topic getting a little convoluted. Are you looking to go with a pair of HDS210's for a nice budget install or is sheer output per dollar the goal?

I need to send them out for a 3rd party to do some extensive additional data collection.
