Hey John, great to hear you are taking steps forward and making changes. Every little bit counts and it can all add up. To really beat it, you have to stay focused and keep in mind the consequences of failing. Maybe even have little reminders up, or grab a used set of dumb bells to just do some curls or presses while you are around the house. Even if you do it while watching TV, using a low weight, and not counting reps, you will be surprised how many you crank out because you are watching the boob tube.

If you are doing a set of components (with crossover) up front, and a pair of co-ax 6x9's in the rear, it would make the most sense to get one quality 4 channel to power all of those speakers.

What does RF suggest for those drivers?

I am biased towards the Zed's and the US Acoustics. But the Nak's, Planet Audio's, and such were very solid amplifiers that still fetch good money. Bromo showing off his chromes again.

Woah woah woah!! Don't just dump the sub woofers because of an install issue. That will not correct the problem. Rebuild with a different box design more suited for your goals, then decide.

I know Mark had said he tested an 8" version when these 6.5" models were in the works, but he did not like it. Then there was another 8" model but was from a different mold. I believe an 8" would come from the IXL line, but I am sure if there is enough interest in an 8" mid-bass/sub in the lineage of the MLI, Mark would consider it.
