  1. Well both are very strong amplifiers. But the Zapco is serious $$$. What is your goals or intentions?
  2. Good luck with the install.
  3. What makes you say that? The amount of cone surface you plan on using.
  4. I usually suggest to start with a quality sealed box to suggested size and go from there.
  5. Welcome Thomas. We seem to attract engineering students here.
  6. At work all day: www.m1live.com.
  7. I am curious as to how it does compared to the PG Bass cube.
  8. No problem. But take some pictures of your install if you can. And try out different slugs or polyfill amounts.
  9. I would consider upgrading the power and ground wires, along with doing the big3 before you worry about a capacitor.
  10. It will be fine.
  11. Would a better solution be go big and if I don't like the sound place some wood inside the box to take up volume. The max recommended volume for this sub is 1.6 after displacement. My largest box above is 1.51 so just about at the max. Also, if I'm running 700RMS watts is that enough power for such a big box? Yes, many people call the added internal wood a "slug". As a rule of thumb, larger boxes are more efficient and you can get a little more out of the power you have. But there is a point of diminishing returns when there is too much impedance rise, but you don't really have to worry about that with a single sealed box.
  12. Yes, a dual 1 ohm BL will show the amp 2 ohms mono.
  13. Me damn it!
  14. PRS Paul Reed Smith http://www.prsguitars.com/ http://www.prsguitars.com/artists/santana/index.html much appreciated,
  15. Probably going to have to grab some office sludge to make it by.
  16. BGE = Baltimore Gas & Electric?
  17. Can you take a weight gainer shake? I certainly can, but doubt it will work. I think I'm steadily dwindling away. Maybe you just need to out eat your metabolic rate.
  18. I was referring to the people who grab bells about 50% over what they should be using and they swing and yank the bell up, only rotating the wrist at the last moment. This gets very little focus on the biceps themselves. As for form, there are a few different curl positions; standing with bar, standing with bells, sitting with bells, incline bench with bells, curl rack, reverse incline bench with bar hanging, seated single bell curl between legs, etc. Anyway, the point is to use the bicep through the entire motion and not move your body during the rep. If you are standing, one way to really help isolate is to put your back against the wall, that way you cannot swing the bell up with your body. Also, some gyms have formed flat bar guides that you hang over your neck that does not allow your elbows to pass behind the vertical plane of your abs. It is always better to go down a step in weight and be able to complete a full set of slow and controlled reps.
  19. Interesting mids and highs.
  20. Should be damn loud. Good luck with the build, nice amps and subs.
  21. As I said on the other forum, I personally prefer the larger end of the range. You could always go smaller, and if you want to tweak the sound get some polyfill.
  22. Would love to go to a euro SPL comp.
