  1. I have been t a lot of shows this year with Team Kamikaze and the subs have been putting up some good numbers SPL wise. At ne point in time they held a few records earlier in the year (not sure if they still do). I have seena few blow but so far they have been pretty reliable, but they are a little too pricey for me as well.
  2. My old US Amps had a sperate remote turn on plug so you could hook up 2 extra remote turn ons.
  3. I think you will be very happy with it. When you get it installed let us know what you think of it.
  4. I am baised:) so I say go with the 13kv2. I have seen a few installs with them and they sound very nice. I have 4 of the EU-700's and a NINe.1 amp and use them for competition and hard daily driving and not a hickup from anything.
  5. Check out the AMP-100 from Dave Navone http://www.davidnavone.com/linedrivers.htm
  6. Lanzar also sells refurbs form their website also. They also carry a 1 year warranty. http://www.lanzar.com/specials.asp
  7. Still here. Amazing what you can find when you search the web. LOL.
  8. I can't help it. I have a certain saying by Doug Fudala that still sticks with me to this day.
  9. Just for reference, here are some pics of his previous box.
  10. Thanks for the tips. Yes, he did remove the hatch thingy.
  11. It is an 03 Tiburon. I was thinking about 42 Hz and go from there. His box before had the subs firing forward and the port pointed up at the glass. It was tuned to 55 Hz. Not his 1st choice for a box design but it ws cheap. Was doing 144.X on a TermLab with it and wants more. Time to build his own box. LOL.

Help me out. Anyone do a SPL system in a Tiburon? Just trying to get an idea of the box tuning. The box is for a pair of 12" Fusion Powerplants, each one run by a Fusion Lomu amp. ANy help is appreciated.

It was an SPL only vehicle so that is the reason for the headunit in the back. That way I could burp it from outside the car. The amp was 44" not including the mounting feet, so roughly 46" overall and roughly 35 pounds. Here is a pic I used to sll the amp on ebay. This was my daughter when she was roughly 6 months old.

US Amps 800. Used it for a season to power a 15" Stroker at 1 ohm or a MMats Juugernaut at .7 ohm depending on my mood. Good - 1. tons of power 2. Hella WOW factor Bad - 1. Physical Size Overall this has been my favorite amp to date. I traded a pair of 2000x's for the 800 and a 15" Stroker D2. I would make the trade again in a heartbeat. Ended up selling it on Ebay for a little over $1,000.
  15. Signed up for IASCA this past weekend and am competing again this year so you will see me more in the near future. I will be trying to relearn everything I have forgotten:)
  16. Sweet additions and changes. Should make the forum a little more cozy! Hmmm, what emoticon to post now

Hmm, may have to try and RE8
  18. I would not mind getting Tsunami's old 5 channel. That would fit the bill about now. These are decent amps for the price. When I was looking at then new 3 or so years ago the dealer price on them was $220 so this is a steal. Anyone know if Tsunami still makes amps?
  19. All I can say is amazing. In 2000 I went for my first time and it was my first dB Drag show competing. Damn was I outclassed. It kinda stinks to compete though because they don't have enough competitor parking and you end up paying to park in the garage next to the Ocean Center. And that stinks because every time you enter you have to pay. Your parking pass is not valid all day. Last year I believe it was $10 to park. I would advise getting there early and try to get into the competitor parking, or hopefully they have more of it this year.

No problems here. I used to work for comcast though doing customer support. It really sucked when Comcast and AT $ T merged a few years ago. Everyone was always calling about being down!
  21. I will be there for the 5th straight year. Most likely not as a competitor though.

Damn, I feel stupid:) I guess I just have a disease called laziness
  23. Thanks for the advice on holsters. I might have some time to look and maybe pick one up tomorrow. I have about 100 Rds through mine. Oh, and the cheapest I have found my amoo is $15 for 50 shots. Not horrible, but I wouldn't mind something a little cheaper.
  24. Here is my block of Glock. Sorry for the bad pic, I want to get a new camera here soon. It doesn't like to focus well on some stuff. Anyways, the one drawback to the 10 like mentioned above is the price of ammo. Unfortunately you can't buy bulk packs like you can with the 9. That is why one of my next purchases is a .40 cal conversion barrel for plinking or the 22 conversion for even cheaper plinking.
  25. Been to the range a few times and come to find out I need more practice:) At 25 yeards I have a group of 4". Thankfully I have quite a while till hunting season. The 10 defenitely has a large bang and the recoil isn't ba at all. Not like I thought it would be. Does anyone caryy there gun at all? I am looking at holsters and damn there are a lot of choices! Just trying to see what any one prefers. mrray13 - been able to get to the range with yours?
