I run a Deka Intimidator 9A31 with Big 3 on a stock alternator powering a JL300/4 and Sundown SAZ-1500D. I get very very faint dimming at max volume on heavy bass notes with the headlights and air/heat running. Overall very happy with the Deka for $200 from a local distributor, I would highly recommend it. -

You will be very pleased with your purchase. I own a SAZ-1500D and it is outstanding! Your electrical will be needing lots and lots of help to power that beast!

Diggin the properly lowered, without a body kit civic ......nice to see someone with similar taste to mine. I'll be eagerly watching this one! My oldest daughter is driving and looking for a ride. We are thinking about something like yours, of course not lowered to begin with though.

Don't get me wrong, not trying to be a jerk toward you smokey. I'm just trying to give you the right info for future reference. That's what's great about this forum, everyone is willing to help. I'm not an expert by a longshot and if I am wrong then someone will correct me.
Incorrect smokeydog, it makes the enclosure seem larger and the tuning a little lower. These are both things Casey (casedawg) was trying to achieve. I am by no means an expert but I'm hoping it helps his overall response and sound. BTW- glad I could give you a hand today Casey, hopefully it holds up for awhile and sounds decent.
I currently have a Pioneer DEH-7800MP and am very happy with it except for the fact that I would like a DVD player/flip screen. I'm trying to find something with 3 preouts, some crossover abilities, and fairly inexpensive. The head unit has to be single din and a flip screen because my dash would have be cut for a full din. The Clarion looks decent but I can't find much info on it other than really general stuff. Ebay, Crutchfield, and other online sites have it for around $350 shipped and that's the price range I'm looking for. I'm not sure if I will be happy with less crossover abilities but not sure if I really need them either. My current 4 channel is a JL 300/4 running Memphis MCSQ 6.5" comps in front and MClass 5x7" rears. I plan on ugrading eventually to the Sundown SAX-100.4 and know it has gotten rave reviews for it's crossovers. I can't find a local place that carries one and most of them push alpine, kenwood, pioneer so I turn to my fellow SSA members. I hope I've given enough info, thanks in advance.
