The Ethos are only rated at 1,800 rms. i told you i would give them hell.... i simply pulled out the nightshade V2s .. and dropped in the ethos... i didn't change a thing... they take it as it is... i will how ever dial it back.. as i know im clipping the shit out of them at this point.. i plan to wire down to .25 this weekend and see what they do on the termlab. Real world testing on abuse by our own bigjon

Jon, looks like 4 in the back of my burban should be rediculously brutal. If all goes according to plan, a taramps HD8000 or T10.9 will be the amplification. Don't care about #'s, just ability to play everything & demo for as long as I want.

I'm already getting super excited to play with 18's. Hoping a presale is the deciding factor to choose them over Sundown X18's, Tantric HD's or the DLP MLD 18's. So many good upcoming companirs that cater to my budget & needs!

WOW! I am anxious to hear more from Jon about thses subs. Hopfully I will be able to hear some once Sean/Shizzon gets his build completed. If these sound as good as I'm hoping, the Sundown X's may end up a forgotten thought. The idea of 4 Ethos 18's in my Suburban is starting to sound MUCH more inticing. I'll definitely be watching for updates on the 18's Quentin!
