I just had my first time on the meter today at Slamology and I didn't do too bad, a 140.5db. The enclosure is 5cu net (to oversized for big power) tuned to 33hz (obviously not spl oriented) ran off a Sundown SAZ-1500D@ 1ohm. For a system that is made to get low and have moderate volume ability, it exceeds expectations. I did lots of demos and impressed the hell out of people that gave "just 8's" a chance SUNDWON AUDIO FTMFW!!!! BTW- the vehicle is an 07 Ford Escape and I believe that there is more in this current setup

LMAO, so much for no projects and getting some rest DO WORK SON!

Had a helluva time today! We got into the show this morning and it looked like a tsunami hit the grounds..FTL! Last night some bad storms blew through. We went yesterday afternoon and set up some tents and dropped off some gear which was all tore apart by this morning . After a little coordinated effort from everyone, things looked right again The whole day felt truly like a family outting........thanks to all my IAK family!!!

First, it was great meeting and hanging with some new people from the forum. I gave some more "wtf, those are 8's?!" demo's today (LMAO ), handed out some SSA cards , and got to show and sing the praises of Sundown Audio...FTW I was very happy with my score, our team scores, and how IAK was able to rep ourselves and SSA at the show. Hoping I can sleep tonight....a little excited for day 2 Shouts out to all of my IAK family, old and new

Hmmmm, already considering changing out the 4-SA8's Change to 4-SA10's or 12's ran off my SAZ-1500D plus purchase another and strap them

We're all carrying the SSA badge on our rides to represent I'm sure we'll have some pics posted at some point over the next couple days

We (me, chop and his family, mikey, jordan and his lady, bear and his lady, hove and his buddy, jay-c76 and his buddy) rolled out for the speed pass today at Slamology Wishing we could have the rest of the IAK family there, but we'll represent for you

I realize that I'm a little late, but the interior turned out sick

I got to swing by a local shop around the corner from me today. They matched the internet pricing on the Kendwood KDC-X794 I have currently The installer asked some questions while I purchased it and asked for me to come through to let him see/hear the setup when it was installed. I gave him a look at my handy work with the amp rack and the enclosure......his words "that's a nice clean install, lets hear em!". I gave him a little demo and his eyes lit up "holy shit!! all that from some 8's?, I didn't expect anything near that" Yezzir!!! It was a real IAK moment without a doubt

We need that kind of encouragement from some of our local shops They act like it's a pain to meter you and your bothering them...FTL! Hopfully Team IAK will have their own meter before long and can help some of our local enthusiasts Great idea
