  1. When strapping a pair of 40.1s do you have to change the phase of the slave amp?
  2. ****UPDATE**** Yesterday I was working on getting the heat in the van working, had to replace the heat resister. So I replace it and drop the blower out to find that the wheel is also damaged. Then I see that the entire air box is destroyed so now I will have to dis-assemble the entire dash and replace it. On a side note there isn't as much dynamat on the van as a I thought, that will also change.
  3. Quit braggin Jordan, you spend way to muchtime on Ebay anyways.
  4. There will not be any modded amps for competition. They pretty much do anything that you need without mods. Have you been in touch with me via e-mail? I don't always connect screen names with people Yeah, shaun schiffinger [email protected]
  5. Is there any chance of getting amps modified for competition guys? Also, I need a number to get ahold of you because i should be ordering my amps soon and want to make sure they will be ready to go in time for Xtreme Audio Thunder.
  6. I am and I am also aware the I can only use one. I am most likely going to use the better of the optima and kinetik for the first part of the season. The CS9000 is more for my finals push but I got it at a good price so I couldn't pass it up. I will be posting test results once I get them.
  7. Okay, few more pics. To start, I obviously have a Kinetik 2400 under the hood. Next I have an optima G31 bluetop: And then there is my CS9000:
  8. Got my battery on Thursday, as soon as I carry the 80 lb beast in I'll post some pics.
  9. $50.00 shiny dollars ,cash! lol I'll have to think about that one.
  10. That sounds like an insane combo, I wish I could go with something like that(maybe someday).
  11. Nice build, it's great to see a fellow CC installer doing something crazy.
  12. If you are dead set on 4X6s then I would recommend checking out the Soundstream Tarantula 4X6, by far the best I have ever heard.
  13. Very nice box, great craftsmanship.
  14. Hopefully he gets it right but I may give the new class a try(unless I get a cash offer on the van).
  15. Well with the new rules it looks like I will be selling the van and getting out of competition for awhile, unless Wayne comes to his senses and fixes the rules. I specifically bought the van because of it's potential in Street Max 1-2, and now I have to go up against guys with four 18s, I don't really see any logic in the decission to combine any of the classes that were combined.
  16. No US competitor has ever been in contention to win Street Max 1-2, Cactus has run the class since it started a few years ago. It is like his own personal class. I wouldn't worry about me being at a disadvantage. You bought or are buying pornstar's truck?
  17. They will definetly make changes, it's all a matter of what the changes are.
  18. Yeah, hopefully Wayne won't ruin the rules and screw me over.
  19. Okay here is the wall: and here are the subs
  20. I do have pics and will post them later. The van was in good shape with a few problems, nothing I wasn't aware of when I bought it. Me and Rooney spoke about the van alot upto and after I bought it. As far as listening to it, there is really no point at 62hz.
  21. The first thing I did was to remove alot of the stickers that were on the van(there were close to 100): Next I added some power and ground, two positive and two negative. It now has three positive and two negative from the battery back, there are also two chasis grounds in the back. And yes that is 4ga speaker lines into the box. I will post more later, feel free to ask me any questions.
  22. I wanted to get a post going so everyone could get an idea of what I am working with. The main reason is because in Feb-Mar I will be doing some test on the SAZ-3000ds. I will be updating this thread as often as I can do any work and/or testing on the van. To start it is a 1993 Dodge Caravan, and I run StreeMax 1-2 in DB Drag. I bought it from Rooney Bianco of Team 420 in July of last season. Here it is the day I picked it up: A few specifics, I picked it up in Connecticuit at a show. When I picked it up it had the following: (2) MA 4000d (2)T3 tsns 18" old pioneer deck(2volt output) Kinetik 2400 one run of 0 ga At the show I hit a 154.7 and took first place.
  23. I'm hoping to have the whole set-up up and running for SBN at the end of march.
  24. How about a competition only version of the SAZ-3000d? No crossovers, no bass boost, and no subsonic filter. Add a second set of power inputs. Maybe a few internal changes like bigger caps and internal wiring(not sure if this is even possible).
  25. What voicecoil configuration do you use, I will be using four 3000ds in Street-Max 1-2.
