  1. I always stick with classics. Eddy M and Robin W. Lolo had some of them, lost all my music and stand up. I'll hafta get some of those back. Forgot all about Eddie. lewisblack, dave chappelle, george carlin, brian (or bryan) regan, johnoliver, gabriel inglesias, frank caliendo (football fans might likethis guy alot, does a great john madden) not in any specific order.. Chappelle, check, Carlin check however i need more, Regan a big check there, and Caliendo check. Never heard too much Lewis Black or Grabriel. Ill check em out. Had to get the essential, Mitch Hedberg of course. Got some Joe Rogan (check that out, really funny) and an album by Daniel Tosh. THe things that guy says are some of the worsth things I have ever heard out of someones mouth. I feel like I should go to church after listening to what he says and laughing. Lol
  2. anyone have any good stand up comedy to download?
  3. This just in! My Monday night teacher just sent out an e-mail, next Mondays lecture is going to be available online to accommodate the football schedule! I love awesome teachers and no 3 hour night classes.....and the Viking, Packers game too.
  4. 54 degrees and cloudy here in SE MN. What happened to the awesome weather a week or two ago.
  5. So sick of reading! I wish there wasn't so much, and easier material! UGH
  6. That was awesome. I think the best part is that one of the guys watching the game with us was a hardcore niners fan. He definitely was not happy. Agreed. Just went out for a smoke and didn't even stay out long enough to even get half done.
  7. First Top in a while.
  8. Haven't been here in a while. Finally got a new computer and can actually keep up with what's going on around here!
  9. Fortunately, I work at the local shop. Me and the other installers enjoy our jobs and are all knowldgeable in the area of mobile electronics and audio in general. Our car audio manager was an installer before he worked the desk and doesn't work on commission. We all have attended some sort of schooling related to car audio installation. And in defense of demo rooms, its hard to demo a sub in a big room. Especially the lows, cars have a lot of cabin gain for low frequency. I've heard horror stories about shops though and seen a few bad things too. I had a car come in and i was checking for rattling back speakers. Come to find out they were never screwed in, just set in place.
  10. Just out of curiosity, what HU is that, and what processor is underneath the screen.
  11. BAAAAAAM! GREEN EGGS AND HAAAAAM!
  12. I've heard PRs in home and cars both. Work really well for home applications. There are some issues with cars that would make them unsuitable for car use. For examples bumps and jolts in the road and make them move "un naturally" They are just a heavy weight with a suspension on it. Heres a good link discussing PR use from Acoustic Elegance. http://www.aespeakers.com/PRFAQ.php
  13. Wow I just saw this and saw that I posted wayyyy back. Irnoically, I have that same amp mentioned and am running it to my front stage. Bridged front 2 channels and rear 2 channels for sound goodness. How ironic.
  14. Good description. It works great for older rock music or anything that lacks low end bass. For anything like new rap, it's a wasted and distorts the hell out of low bass.
  15. Buy that Up! At the shop I work for, the 13w7 HO enclosure and sub cost 1100. And I am a fan of JL, high quality products even to the mid level lines.
  16. Depends, I know Leap (short for Loudspeaker Enclosure Analysis Program) is a big one but very spendy. Get Bassbox Pro or WinISD. They will both work for modeling whatever you need to do.
  17. I haven't really been keeping my ears open. It wouldn't surprise me if Rochester had a show going on sometime soon but I have no idea whatsoever.
  18. Some of the people at work took pictures and video. Someone might out some up soon. Ill keep you posted.
  19. I hope Arnold remembered to include the use of steroid to the workout plan!
  20. Definitely go with the Towncar. I have a 97 and I love it. Rock solid cars for sure. Mine has seen better days. Started to rust and was recently hit by my neighbor and did some cosmetic damage. I removed my rear speakers in my towncar, but that was just to eliminate the rear stage. I have mounted a JL 6w0 in the rear dash within a factory enclosure. Worked out well. TownCar all the way! Can't beat the ride either. Unfortunately, these are from right after I purchased my Towncar. It's got some imperfections and a lovely new exhaust leak but I love these cars!
  21. Good God that is a very nice install!
  22. Interesting. I'm excited to see this thing.
