Depressing, Just sold my DQ-10s Downgrading to Scott S-10 2 ways without a sub. I hate it already. Time for some project speakers.

Picked up a new amp yesturday. Sony ES XM-3546. Now I can run my RF 800a2 on the brahma! Its a 1 ohm stable 4 channel but I will just end up bridging it to get 100 watts for my fronts! I saw the ES logo and I grabbed it. Suppose to be Sonys only quality stuff.

Sounds like a chit show. Last time I started drinking that early, things didn't end up so well.

I've used them in numerous installs and never had any noise issue. In fact, I've used the cheapest RCAs known to man and never had a noise issue. Same here. I don't buy into high end cable bullchit. A twisted pair sheilding is usually good enough to block out any unwanted noise. I'd be more worried about bad grounds or connections.

They are good if all you plan to use is your iPod. They are very good for that, however I am not personally ready to give up my CD player yet. Most of the Alpine HU can interface iPods, it's just easier to navigate on the iDA units.

I can't wait to move, My room mate stops me and talks to me about worthless chit on a daily basis. And he's the know it all kind of guys too. He thinks he knows everything, but really he gets shut down all the time, and never admits he's wrong. Less than a month left. Thank God!

Ahhh, I loved every minute of it too. But I'll more than likely have to start waking up early soon.

I love those DQ-10s. I even have the passive x-over and DQ-1w subwoofer. I just am downgrading apt size and don't have the room for them. I am also getting rid of my 53" rear proj. sony tv. I am either going to get a new 50" Panasonics or a used 50" Pioneer Elite. Either way I get a killer deal through work. I am debating buying some Definitive Technology speakers through work when i get some more cash. Another unbeatable deal. Oh and the aesthetics never bothered me or any lady friends. Every girl that make their way to my place knows I am a nerd.

Sad Day, My Dahlquists DQ-10s need to be sold and I found a buyer today. It's a shape my Apt is too small for them next year Hopefully the 50" plasma will make up for for the loss

I've already got all the definitions and real world cases, barely filled up one page I love tests like that, the only thing better is open book. It's hard to believe I had a few of those. One of my professors said, "You'll have field references, so I don't see why you can't use one for a test." That was an easssy test....even without the book
