  7. who makes good 6 channels anyways? i was temped to buy an older A/D/S 6 channel but i never jumed at the oppourtunity
  8. i think that this question will mostly be aimed at Scott....i recently purchased a "damaged" brahma mark II 12"(i think, no idea which is which but i am tol the mark II) that wasn't damaged at all really...just had to fix a bad glue joint and it works perfect now... 30 bucks and a 2 dollar tube of adhesive isn't too bad, but for my real question i bought it with the intentions of re-coning it to an 18" Fi Brahma Hybrid of some sort.... i was wondering if it could be done...or has it been done? i was thinking a dual 2 ohm coil with at least 1100 watts power handling... i still want to retain good sound quality also...not sure if i would want to do it ported or sealed though... just looking for ideas and a price possibility and another side question.....the brahma that i have had a re-cone done on it right before adire closed its doors....probably one of the last re-cones, but with the re-cone would the speaker keep the same t/s parameters or would they change because of different soft parts coils etc...?
  9. well hello aaron i am todd but seriously that was complete coincidence that i put aaron and dave...lol i went through my phone and looked at names and thought what i thought x-over would be and those are the names i came up with lol

  14. agreed with just about everything...i tried to go one ROE for a few days...some people there are just ignorant arsehos..there are the smart respectable people there but a lot of quote on quote "E- thugs" lol clean that site up and keep up the awsome work here!
  15. no soundstage for you
  16. first off...the CDTs are passively crossover, correct? and if that's the case you would cross them over highpass-CDTs, Bandpass-8", and the lowpass would be iCons? it all depends what your are going for...and it all depends on the characteristics of your speakers... personally i would eliminate all passive x-overs(i still have to do this) and run everything active...i.e.cdt tweets highpass, cdt 4" mid, and the 8" lowpass(i would almost go with a 6.5 personally) and then run your sub off a different set out outputs but doing what i said would require another channel of amplification just kind of realized that...but what you are talking about will definitely work...i might just use 6.5s instead of 8s... are your trying to set-up a soundstage or just want louder highs and midbass and whatnot?
