  1. On the east coast I'm not sure what you guys have but, merchants or tire kingdom. Tire rack would be my first pick tho.
  2. I went to the executioner tour last year. It was completely impossible to be there without earplugs. I have never experienced sound that intense. Great show, loved the projections on the stage. Btw 150k on bass cabinets only.
  3. Take them like your suppose to...Not eat them like skittles...But opiates are so much fun when you take lots of them.
  4. It does it's just vague. It does reference another book specifically on tlines.
  5. Ok don't listen to me, but one of the most knowledgable people on this site(m5) has basically told you the same thing. Best of luck to you on your build.
  6. I live in salt lake "greatest snow on earth." I've seen a dusting of snow 1 time 2 months ago. We are averaging mid 50's right now. The ski resorts have made as much or more snow than has actually fallen naturally.
  7. its hard to take your opinion seriously because you can't just blow a ported enclosure into the cabin with the sub in the trunk. that would totally kill output because the two sources would now be working separately. i think I'm going to stick with a bandpass 4th order blow through but just make sure i get the design right first. any help on that is appreciated. Just because it's behind the seat does not make it some soundproof booth. You will not lose nearly as much output as you assume you will.
  8. I think you would be much better off with a typical ported enclosure. External port blown through the rear deck or wherever you were planning. Simple solution without all the headache of planning a band pass.
  9. I think it was Matt that introduced me to Jim Jeffries. Dude is awesome.. Or a c-word...
  10. If you do reduce it like that it could still be a problem, now you have created chuffing. Again modeling would be perfect for this. As Sean said, you have to account for air speed. Restricting the port still chokes the sub.
  11. One thing I noticed and haven't seen a response to is, making the port longer will lower tuning. However, you have to compensate for port displacement. Otherwise you defeat the purpose and start choking the sub. So go ahead and change port length, but make sure the enclosure becomes larger to make up for the longer port.
  12. I'll have re-look up the diagram, but you can safely bypass the pcm control. So instead of it doing short bursts of power then just doing enough power, it runs full power all the time. What year and engine do you have?
  13. So you're happy with the output of the amp? What model do you have, and do you feel like it does rated? And how's your electrical I have the 3k hd. I assume it easily does rated, never tested it. As far as electrical big 3 stock alt and under hood batt. Shuriken bt-80 in the rear. Have yet to dip below 13.8v on full tilt.
  14. It's in the trunk. I can't hear it at all.
  15. The taramps gear uses a different "high effenciency" technology. Is it really? I have no idea. I picked it based on the small footprint. It had to fit in the spare tire well, because between the box and battery, I have very little room left. All I know is I can go full tilt for hours without the amp getting more than warm to the touch. I personally like how I can give someone a walk through of my setup, then scare the hell out of them. It really does impress.
  16. Hopefully you can read Portuguese. It's a Brazilian company. Send shizzzon a pm. He can answer any questions you may have.
  17. Quentin gives a different power rating for his DSS subs. They are not rated thermally but by how much it takes to takes to reach xmax in an enclosure spec sized, tuned to 32hz. Which is 1800 watts. It will thermally take more but I would run it in a modeling program to find out what you could do.
  18. Taramps... Mind blown. I had a sundown saz1500v3. When I upgraded I bought a taramps 3k. It's 1/2 the size of the sundown and I have no doubt it does rated power. Just to make it even harder on you... Sorry man
  19. Especially for the mechanic brands like Snap-On, Matco, etc. I can't imagine paying the prices new, I can buy multiple Vidmar or Lista cabinets for those prices. I will check these brands out. The Husky's at Home Depot are looking tempting. That or Harbor freight. Coupons that I got from Harbor Freight last week... ">http:// ">http:// ">http:// ">http:// ">http:// The 5 drawer cart I have at my house. That one I do recommend. Pretty sturdy for a harbor freight cart.

The Husky's at Home Depot are looking tempting. That or Harbor freight. A long time ago I had a stainless steel Kobalt box from Lowes. The biggest issues I ran into were the drawers are really flimsy. The other is the drawers don't hold much weight. The rollers will snap.
  21. Love Lamb of God Didn't really care for them when I first heard New American Gospel back in high school, but I'm really digging the shit out of 'em now Do you mean Burn the Priest days? If so neither did I. Once they made the switch lamb tho...
  22. Love Lamb of God
