I know. Total Nub move. My rig is completely silent running though and that was the goal. A silent Titan it's DB's are lower than the soundfloor in my apt. I might see if I can take it to my buddies work and see what it really puts out for DB's in a chamber. I will say graphix cards are TOOOOOO long, MAN! The EVGA 9800 XT Css !0+ inches... Shoot even my sound card is so long I couldn't put it in the first slot because it would hit the RAM. Corsair OC'ed heat sinc styles lol. Usualy I laugh at brand name but this stuff was less than generic brand and factory warranty OCed already.

I would probably like film more myself Jim, but she's the boss, and likes to use photoshop, well she's learning it from her friend who does Photoshop for a living. I didn't think mega pixels were everything especialy at such a small percentage. She says she likes to make big prints though so it matters I guess. And one website review said it had processing capable of keeping up and as good of imaging as the more expencive d series. I'm lost... she has tons of lenses between her and her dad, but I think she gave choices to me because I'm Mr. techno guy and I would know something... which I do not. lol so I ask you for help, so I can take credit and be the hero getting her the best camera. She loves to shoot pics and has always wanted digital SLR, she has 2 regular SLR already I guess.

Does anyone know anything about cameras? I'm buying my fiance a digi cam, because I want to, kind of an engagement present to her, but early as hers is crap. Who said welding wire isn't flexible ? If you want to pay extra for some fancy-pants transparet insulation, go ahead. But copper is still copper. You will have far more things to worry about when the temperature reaches that where insulation melts... x2

I say this because I WAS you. And I went about changing the wrong way, and you sound close to it. "Nice" guys finish last because they do not express what they want. Be it fear or out of a show of respect to women or anything else. Almost every nice guy I know isn't nice to themselves and ends up unhappy and unsatisfied as they will go out of their way to make everyone else comfortable, and never ever concern themselves about their needs or wants. That only leads to one thing and that's resentment self destructive behavior and probably being a real shiz head. I chose to be a shiz head for a few months... I don't want to see anyone else do that. Nice guys should finish first, but they also need to be honest. Weather you want to admit it or not, you were'nt honest with this girl. You wanted more, but she wasn't down with that. So you stayed, basicaly saying it's ok, when really it's not. I hope it works out for you man! You actualy do sound like a good guy... just what ever you do don't get down on yourself, and start bringing up your standards for youself. Good call on getting rid of the baggage though. Sometimes you gotta clean house of the crap people in it.

Unless you go way West of the lake, smaller homes are pretty much double your budget. How far are you willing to drive? I thought so.... It's more about the fiance and her driving. I found a nice place in vadnais heights in an nice woddy area near by 3600 sq feet one .44. 5 bed 2 bath I think... 225 listed. Sounded too good. Will have to check it out. I want west so I can just drive 94 into mpls, she wants north east, because her momma is out there. I love the tonka area, but, cost per foot isn't that great and I don't own a boat..... yet.... =P

It's friday.............the sun is shining...........the river yacht is gassed up.................the river is running just a tad high and ever so slightly stained.................I foresee some smallies in my not so distant future. Sean, I have been looking for homes, on the cheep, and I want to be out in the tonka area. Hard to find real forclosure deals online. Is that area in too high of a demand. Looking in the low low 200's. What's your take on value out there too. I don't know anyone living out there anymore, most of my friends from there moved way up north now.
