  1. Both deserts were insanely awesome...... Tropical terrine with blood orange sorbet Then a chocolate tripple play with passion fruit notes. Fudge with a passion fruit ribbon hidden inside, white chocolate icecreme and basically a HoBo with a passion fruit filling.
  2. Highlights?Eggs done perfectly served in a shell with caviar. The only fish and beef plate I have ever flipped for. Seared tuna, tenderloin, and foie gras. Halibut poached in butter was unbelievable. The amuse chicharones was excellent. Pusson with a tomato gastric had a chicken liver lasagna that was really comfort food flavored, but turned up to 11. Some of the dishes were a miss, and chef made a few too many foam presentations but it was great. Travail food was a notch better and more creative, la belle vie was much more beautiful in presentation and not being so loud it's hard to talk is nice. Service was also classic and attentive.
  3. Because, dubs.
  4. Strange will be unable to stop themselves from wanting to go for a ride in the MattMobile.
  5. Extremely well taken care of. In-laws are getting buying a Buick from wife's Gma. Passing down the old one to us. Now to find out if I get to drive it, or the W.

  22. the kickstarter is at $5.5m with 8 days left. ridiculous. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1003614822/ponomusic-where-your-soul-rediscovers-music My understanding is he wanted a player that was better than MP3. I sure as shit can tell an mp3 from a CD with my good headphones or my Martin Logan's. The Logan's are particularly cruel to production and compression. They make some of my most nostalgic albums sound like flat shit because of it. Just cruel cruel speakers. The flip side is, some of those really well recorded albums have so much hidden content that they sound remastered compared to listening on junk speakers. can't tell a 320 I'd bet money on it.Is that the common standard now? Last time I downloaded an MP3 it was wild to see it at 128 bit rate.
