Xcon 15" - Smallest sealed box ever used?
Stuff it with 1.5 lbs per 1 cuft volume. Make sure to spread it out so its flowy not tight together or it just will take up volume. It should be able to get you right over 2 cuft.

new theater sub build and more
Finally got some birch from lowes, 2 sheets. I'll be doing some work this weekend maybe cutting. Also, I got a couple of new equipment for the home theater. Mitsubishi HC3800 1080P projector, about 100ft of 22gauge monoprice HDMI cable with a repeater, and some stretch spandex to make a screen.

yeah, I'm not so much on negative camber either but the stretch tires are cool to an extent. You should see Vdubs lol. Rusty panels and stretch tires are a standard. hehe.

What belt are you running with your HO alt?
Never heard of that? Sometimes you get slips that you won't hear. So that's a way to check to tell.

well, thinking about getting in trouble with the wife
If you got all those things in line, you should probably save the money for that. Why not build a new enclosure instead for more output or more SQ or whatever? But if you must get an 18", why not look at Mach5 audio? They reside in Canada so you don't have to pay dues or international shipping. They still have the MJ18-Ms and the IXLs are awesome.

how does my 12bl enclosure look??
that port area seems really really small.

Fi BL12 on an Alphasonik Amp
Its fine if your db drive subs can take it. be smart with the gain and no bass boost. subsonic filter would help a lot too if you are going to use a ported box.

Different wood types to build a box
it is the least durable of all engineered wood and it is not that much cheaper than MDF. It breaks apart in clumps really easy and it swells and sags when introduced to moisture. And you have to be extra careful using screws in it as the structure is really weak. You definitely need more bracing than compared to MDF as well.

SSD Owners Sound Off
I have had a single 12" SSD, 2 12" SSD, 2 10" SSD, and a 15" SSD sold a bit back, and then there's a 10" new version SSD sitting in the basement right now. My highest score to date was like 145dB with 2 10" SSD on 2k in a trunk.

battery light comes on when heavy accellerating voltage drops reving
slim2fattycake replied to kryptonitewhite's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / ElectricalCheck the pulley on the alternator for particles of belt (specks of black coating) as you may be slipping and not knowing it or it may not give signs (squeals). Or bad alternator.
