  1. It sounds like it would be like getting the SX from RE then.
  2. SSDs FTW! nice build man. I'll be tuning in for the finish.
  3. watch that battery connection. don't let it get loose because it looks a little odd.
  4. seriously, get in that vehicle and try chit out. there are many people with 12, 15s in their trucks. this is only 1 12". I agree with the console idea. I always thought it was cool.
  5. center console it with 4 8s. two on top face and one of each side.
  6. 1200d for some head room.
  7. x2. Get bp option just because. lol.
  8. It doesn't matter, people are not going to change their mind if they are ignorant like that. They will always think they have the best stuff.
  9. yea and the fact that the title is "Warden Series Extreme SPL Subwoofers". :bigclap: pictures, pictures!
  10. Man, I want to hear a BTL in person so I can understand the power. lol.
  11. The SSD is slightly superior in my opinion. It is more SPL geared than the 9500. With more motor force, and more efficiency. A loaded SSD would not totally obliterate the 9500, but be slightly superior. Comparing the 9500 and BTL is apples and oranges. The BTL is in its own class. If you're comparing the SSDs to the 9500s, and you're saying that the SSDs are slightly superior. Then how is the comparison of the 9500 to the BTL the same as apples and oranges? Are you saying that the 9500s are sound quality subs while the BTLs are spl subs?
  12. totally agree. also op, don't be offended because of what i said to you. I only said that because there are lots of people that think they know what they are doing when they have no clue.
  13. I run Kicker SS components, and they are phenomenal. If the QS series replaces them I am interested. I run kicker ssmb6 midranges. They are awesome.
  14. If this is new to you then you should start slow. Ask a lot of question and don't start installing so soon. Planning is a big part. There is a lot more than just battery, sub, and amp in a system.
  15. If you're on a budget then get things in moderation so you can add more later when you are not really tight on money. ALSO not everyone wants to hear you from a block away.
  16. . I want two new dust caps.
  17. welcome. we are always up for build logs.
  18. Im still getting the error. It happens everytime I click on "view new posts".
  19. lol. chit, I might have to go out and get some.
  20. dude, seriously just tell him to shut the hell up and when he finally gets his chit together than talk. Is this a friend of yours? Usually friends listen and help each other.
  21. if you want 2000 watts, you should get the brutus 2400w and upgrade your electrical.
  22. I DO TOO! They have a saw like that at our local Lowes. Is that your personal shop? If so, I'm jealous... I always feel bad that they are cutting it for me and that I am so picky about their cutting.
  23. Okay. I made a decision because the deal was too good to pass up. Two 12" SSD subs with copper coils and bp options. I got them both for 275 shipped. I wanted 10s but I guess with a deal like this I will have to go and deal with the bigger size. Thanks for getting my mind back on the SSDs, denim.
  24. Well, I had one 12" SSD (FW and BP) for a while then I sold it. And now I am back to the SSDs again. This time I am going with two 12" SSD (Copper and BP) and I will be giving them 2000 watts at 2 ohms. I have a honda accord and I will need to get a battery for the back to power the amp. I already have 0 gauge ready for an upgrade big 3 from the 4 gauge. I was thinking of giving the subs about 1-1.5 cubes each, in a ported box tuned to 30hz or 33hz. Their graph looks good in WinISD at both but I think I like 30hz better. I know this is below the recommended size for ported boxes but I have some space constraints. I think they will be fine though. What do you think?
  25. Sounds like the output is going to surprise all his friends.
