Can't Decide: JL/RE/ALPINE
Well yea, just one. He stated 1 12" SE in his post. I was just sayin, I've run the SE's before in the past and on that amount of power it would be fine.

Can't Decide: JL/RE/ALPINE
I agree with the guys above. Changing the settings in your current setup, might give you louder results than just changing subs, since you want to retain the Infinity a611 amplifier. I changed box settings a couple times and found better results. You could do the same, unless you just want a change from the w0's. If you do change, the SE's are great subs even with that kind of power.

Some help choosing subs.
Yea I've read a lot on the Fi forums and the Tech team seems to respond quickly to anyone posting for help. So is Fi superior to the other brands as far as Tech support and Help, along with performance to boot? Everyone seems to love the Fi products.....maybe it's a sign... Anyone else have any opinions on these subs? I'm looking to start ordering everything soon.

Some help choosing subs.
Yea I've heard alot of praise over the BL's and even more about the BTL's as well. Anybody have personal expierence with the DD 9515 or the BTL 15? Any weaknesses or strong points? Sorry, so many questions. But that is how you learn. At this point, the BTL might be a wise choice by your responses. Thanks for the input; it is very much appreciated!

Some help choosing subs.
True John, SQ is nothing to me, I don't care about how they sound as far as SQ, but I was just asking which one would be the best choice as far as an SPL setup. I know their are a lot of variables involved but I wanted to see what peoples' opinions were about each brand since I don't have as much knowledge as some other people here or the expierence that some people have. Thanks for your input, it is appreciated.

Some help choosing subs.
Cheapest way would be to purchase a 2nd SX 15" , but I'm really liking what I'm hearing about the BTL's and the DD's subs. Kinda torn about which route to take. I know the DD and the BTL will take more than what I'm going to running as far as power, but that shouldn't hurt me. Turn it up to near full tilt at competitions and leave it at 1/4 for street beat. The SX has been a great sub and yes I've beat the heck out of it, but I've been reading a lot on here about other people's expierences with other subs and it's sent me to make a decision since most of it is good talk. Fi and DD are a little pricey but I can work with that if that's what people think will sound best. Thanks for your input DC , greatly appreciated!

Some help choosing subs.
Hey guys, Just need a few opinions. For the new season, I'm going to go with 2 15's instead of 1. Only thing is, I'm using RE Audio right now, shud I just buy a second RE SX, or I've been looking at the Memphis MOJO 15's or the Digital Design 9515's or the Fi BTL 15's w/ full options. I'm going to be running 2 SAZ-1500d's strapped from Jacob at Sundown . Which ones would be the best bang for my buck? I'll be using this as strictly a SPL setup only. I really like this SX I'm running now, but as you all know, you always want more.....haha Thanks for anyones input. Anybody prefer 1 sub over another... and why? Just looking to pick the best sub available that I'm looking at, and I know their are a lot more people here who can chime in with some knowledge for me. Thanks Jeff

I gotta work until 12 noon on Sunday, but I'll try and make it out there. I'd really like to know what kinda number this thing will throw down. New RE Install
Thanks "pops" , hahaha lol..... Appreciate all of your help Brian, you've been the biggest help in getting me to this point. If you hadn't showed me that Soundstream SPLX 12" and that PPI DCX 1000.1 , I would still be banging that 12" Kicker CVX and that 300 watt kicker amp. I appreciate it, I really do. Whens the next competitions starting up? I went from a 1/2 half ass system to a fudgeen badass system all because of you. Thanks Brian. Will have some more pics of the trunk install very soon! You know Carlo has that WOD "Weapon of Mass Destruction" sub and a USamps 4000.1 amp right now dont you? Damn thing sounds pretty good in that box I gave him at 34 hertz.

New RE Install

New RE Install
Yes, the sub is mounted a little to the right, but I wanted it that way. Make it a little different, I guess. I like to stand out as much as possible. Yea, the ZAPCO 650.6 amp looked badass and i've heard awesome things about them, so I decided to go big. I will have some more pictures this weekend on Sunday. I'm going to mount everything in the trunk on Saturday hopefully after I get off of work., because right now it's all Fugly, lol.... but it beats up damn hard, lemme tell ya. Thanks for the praise guys.

New RE Install
At work right now, will provide more pictures tonight or tomorrow. I know only one picture isn't doing any justice. No it isn't sealed off from the cabin, even though I would love to do that. Yes it is a ported box. The vents in that trim piece are where the vents extract from. I had a custom front panel built to make it clean. I had it built at 29 hertz, but have had it extended to 35 hertz for a little more beat-up. It's 5 cubic feet with a .46 cubic foot displacement for the subwoofer. Double walled 3/4" MDF with extra bracing inside the box. Ask Lord Baccus(Brian) He has seen it in person and he flipped out when he learned the vents are on the outside of the box. It's trick. I haven't finished mounting everything in the trunk yet. I will this weekend, and post a few more pictures. Thanks for your praise. Have no idea what kinda dB number to expect from this setup. Anyone?

Need a Little Help!
Need a little help. Finally got everything wired up and in the car. Ran all my wiring, hooked up my batcaps, grounded everything and I have power to everything. Only problem is that I can't get any sound out of my Sub or Component speakers that are wired up to the amps. Nothing is in protect mode or anything. Are my RCA's possibly bad, or is the headunit just not sending out a signal? I got about 5 seconds of sound out of the sub and components when I first turned it on, now nothing works. No fuses are blown or anything. I need help please!! Any replies are appreciated. Jeff
