Nice day at TBP...
Few more coats huh? What'd you figure or find out? I know your always finding new ways...so whats the game plan now? My game plan is by finals...........2 3000D's in my car..

Nice day at TBP...
I never said I wanted to do SPL with it, I just think it would be cool to do. Just to see what it would sound like in my car. I know it probably wouldn't meter well, but it'd be a cool little project until finals....and then I'll put my box back in with my soundstream spl-x and do a 152-153...

Nice day at TBP...
Yea, Kemon said he's seen it do a 152.x... He wouldn't full blast it though. I had fun kicking a** with my single 12"...

Nice day at TBP...
Nah, it aint gotta be this week, I just wanted to know if it would work. Here down the road we'll do it, if you thought it might work. Let me know when you start his boxx, I'll come help. Anything for a team member....And your right, he needs a Sundown amp...If I upgrade to 3000D's, he could use mine...

Nice day at TBP...
Curtis said each vehicle had to go on the TL to get a trophy. So the guy in the Suburban didn't want anyone knowing his number, so he turned it to like volume 10 and then cut it off. It did a 140.8 or something and Kimon said he's seen it do 52's and 53's in past Longview shows. Chucky was trying to find any trunk car to beat me, and the closest one he found was a gold Caprice with 4 15" Kicker L7's that did like a 146.8 or something with 3 JL Audio 1000/1's.... So Curtis told me to do Port Wars against Chuckys trunk car, and I did a 165.9 in the Port and Chucky did a 157 in the port... He was drunker then sh** and was being kind of an a-hole but he was trying everything to find something to beat me and he couldn't do it. His installs were nice, but it was all JL Audio/Kicker stuff.. Would the IB setup with that 18" work in my car Brian?

Nice day at TBP...
Yes I mistyped...I wanna do a IB setup with the 18" SX..kinda like a faceplate on the opening, but i said wall, my bad.. Yes there was a guy in a Red Suburban with 4 18" Subs with 4 1400 watt crossfire amplifiers and 4 HC 2400 Kinetiks and he did a quick 40Hz note and did a 140.8 or something.. Kimon said its capable of 153's all day on 40Hz or something I think. Which would be the better setup to do...the 2 15" with blowthroughs or the 18" SX IB setup? I think the IB setup would be cool as hell in my opinion.... Yea, chucky wasn't too happy I was kicking butt, he was trying to find anyone with a trunk car to compete against me!!!

Nice day at TBP...
And he thought the 9500 was loud in that probox, wait till he hears that RE SX in a custom box... I'm thinking about pulling the SS SPLX out till finals and building me a wall in the opening and mounting that 18" RE SX there...would that work ok, or would the IB be to much? And can that sub handle 2 1500D's strapped @ 0.5 per amp? I wanna do something crazy with it....it's either that or me and you build a box for the 2 15" T4's and use the 6x9 holes as blow throughs for the ports... Let me know...

Nice day at TBP...
Yea, they're comin.....and thank you... I gotta wait for Curtis to upload them tomorrow, and unfortunately, I don't have a camera of my own.....I'm not that fortunate... I'll have a couple up soon..

Nice day at TBP...
Went out to another TBP event out in Longview today with the car in 85 degree weather.. 1st run was 151.3 2nd run was 151.2 3rd run was 151.3 all with the mic in the passenger kick. I also tryed port wars, and I've never done it before, but I managed a 165.9 in port wars. Apparently thats pretty high for 1 sub to...go figure ... These amps are astonishing everyone. They are performing flawlessly and everyone wants to know where to get them..I need some brochures Jake...and I need to step up to a pair of 3000D's....hook me up.. I acquired a 18" RE SX today, and I'm planning on building a wall with this woofer, with the trunk as my Infinite Baffle and tearing some stuff up, we'll see what happens... I won 1st place in Pro Trunk - Unlimited I won 1st place in Port Wars - Unlimited and I had Highest SPL of the show...there were a ton of SQ cars there, only about 15 doing SPL.. Thanks for great amps Jake!

texas heat taking it course.
I've got the amps raised up the same way as Brian and I have 2 turbo computer fans that blow extremely hard and cold air. The amps never even get lukewarm...as long as I keep the fans on, they stay ICE cold, I love it... I don't have the bottom plates taken off though, but it does just fine the way it is..

15" sub
BL all the way...Can do the SPL scene and then do the daily scene too...

151.2db & 151.3db
I wouldn't say I'm killer, but thank you:).......Now on the other hand, you are a awesome competitor. You help me with whatever I'm stuck on and give me allthe pointers in the world. Thanks. I'm glad we are on a team together, we're rockin TBP.. But I do try my best, and I'm still learning about this car audio stuff.....but I am learning fast. I want 155 dB out of this single 12"....and I'm gonna get it one of these days...

151.2db & 151.3db
Yea, as well as Brian, I'm having the same problem as him. My RCA's weren't registering any voltage. I am going to replace the RCA's with some bad@$$ ones, because I have some mediocre ones, and then install the Line Driver I bought. Hopefully this solves the problem... After all that, I still managed a 151.3

Need some help....Please...
Yes the meter was set to AC Volts...I can swap out the unit with another and see if it makes a difference...thats not a problem... I'll try that tomorrow, thanks Jim.

Team Sundown Dallas rocks again
Having a guy like Brian next to me through all this has shown me a lot. If it were not for this man, I would not be here typing this out right now. He has single handedly taught me everything I know. Has treated me better than some fathers treat their sons..... Everything I achieve is due to him and his drive to help me and be his teammate, wouldn't trade his friendship for anything. Should come up one of these days Jon, Show off those Fi's...

Need some help....Please...

Need some help....Please...
Well today at the TBP bass wars event, I found out that I'm not getting any voltage readout off the RCA's from the headunit. Tried it with several meters and it wont register anything, just shows 0.00 .....So apparently, I'm not getting any RCA voltage input to the amplifiers... Someone suggested I needed a line driver to solve this problem. My question being, would this solve the probem....being that I can get a cleaner signal and can adjust it to the voltage I want.. ? Thanks for any help guys, it is very much appreciated........I'm still learning, so please bear with me...

Every ones asking about the Sundown Audio amps that me and Brian are kicking butt with....most people haven't heard of them...they are getting a ton of attention... Hoping to get higher on this single 12"...

New Memphis Mojo's
Thanks Brian... The basket is huge on this sub... Good luck though truckaudioman, hopefully it works well for you.

New Memphis Mojo's
Like Brian said " If you got it, flaunt it." My Soundstream SPLX has a 192 oz. magnet to the Mojo's "228 oz." magnet, but my SPLX Sundstream's magnet is bigger and the sub outweighed my old Mojo by 2lbs on my scale. Puzzled me... Still a nice driver that gets loud, but I personally would look for something else. But to each his own..
