  1. I'm getting a VL-50 and I need specs. Thanks
  2. I agree. If a 15 came out, I'd buy it for sure.
  3. Thanks for the help man. Anything on a VLX-400 end cap?
  4. Just tried it, no site. Also Jake, no return Email.
  5. Site is still down, makes me angry and sad.
  6. Bump. Anyone?
  7. I sent you one Jake.
  8. Grinder1989 posted a topic in US AMPS
I just got one of these not too long ago and finally hooked it up to my VLX-400 and my USA-150. Now my question is the setting of the "gain" on the crossover. From what I understand in the 2000 manual, that knob controls input voltage to the the amp from 0-9 volts. I have it at 3/4 on every channel. I didn't have time for long term testing and nothing sounded distorted or anything. I just want to make sure I'm not going to damage my speakers by having it at that point. So my question is, it it actually a gain knob, or does it act like a line driver and just increase the voltage while turning it up (obviously unlike a line driver, it is not adding voltage to the 8 volts already.) Thanks Guys.
  9. If I upgrade my front stage I might get a 250.2 to match my 1500 or 3000. I haven't made up my mind on which one but I'm leaning toward the 3000D because of no dimming issues with my VLX.
  10. Two 15's? Jake your killing me man. I Barely have enough room for one and all the amps and stuff to power it. However I'm interested in the motor, How much? Same exact motor? PM me please
  11. I'd like to see a big 2 channel, like my VLX with a huge Sundown label on it. That'd be sick.
  12. Ah I see. I still have the only one
  13. I need to get some play time on my 15 so I can review it. But I won't be able to do all the fancy graphs
  14. Bump, I need more Info.
  15. Gain is on the left, separate from the rest of the knobs. http://ampguts.realmofexcursion.com/USAmps...00/outside2.jpg One is high peak, one is low peak, and I forget the middle one. Edit: High Peak, Slope, Low Peak
  16. I need some info on what the knobs do on the side of my VLX-400. LMK guys.
  17. Well I have a 250 and a 300 ANL, and since I have the fuses already I might as well use them. (the agu's I mean)
  18. Thanks for the info on the ANL's but maybe I should note that I'm not going to even try to push this amp to its limits in my car. I don't have the money, or the electrical to support it so I'm really not too concerned with maximum power. The gain will be damn near all the way down @ 1.4 ohms. Just for looks. Function comes when I decide to get an old Lincoln. lol.
  19. Well I'm going with a 200 amp Powermaster alternator and I'm getting a yellow top this weekend. AGU fuse blocks were the only ones I found that can hold 400 amps worth of fuses. They're Phoenix Golds so I'm sure they'll hold up. The only thing left to do is find a 400 amp fuse for my wire, I have 300 on there now. I have the room, and if it doesn't work out too well, I'll sell my ProMos and buy a class D amp.
  20. Well if you decide to get the quote then LMK how much. If you don't want it I'm sure we could work something out
  21. Well my bad dude, its my fault for assuming you did that. I'd love to have one for free. Even if it was burnt up. How much would you like for it?
  22. Thats like smashing a Ferrari into a wall and saying "Oh well I got it for free".
  23. Oh lol its funny if you think about it. Distribution blocks came in today but I have to order 2 more and 10 100 amp AGU fuses.
