  1. I was wondering what the difference between the older 3000D and the New 3000D? Besides the casing.. Can the older 3000D be okay at .5 Ohm?
  2. Damn I would think you would get a better score with just 1 Nightshade and 1 AQ2200 let alone 2 of each..

My plan was to run 2 18" BL'S to a Sundown 3000D at .5 but seeing the nightshade they seem like they would be louder with the same amount of power. I could get the BTL's but it would seem pointless running each sub below the recommended wattage especially when they seem to need atleast 3K watts each and the nightshades dont need a whole lot of room. I got 10-11 C.F. to work with so it would be perfect..

So why do they say 1500Rms Is that the least amount of watts to be pushed nicely but can Handle up to 3000 Watts..

Thanks guys. Another questions How much power can each Stock Nightshade 18" Handle? And what size box is recomended for each?

Where can I order a 18" Nightshade? Thanks,
  7. Damn that looks LOUD!! I feel sorry for the magnum...
  8. Are you expecting 3800 watts on 12 Volts or on a 12 volt electrical system? Thanks,
  9. Yes. Can you see the pics? That's the TermLab screen shown. It even has www.termlab.com written across the bottom of it. Nice ass scores for the setups mentioned.. Now I'll feel even better after I buy my Sundown 3000D;)
  10. Dumb question but were those numbers on a TL?
  11. What is the difference between the SAE-1000D and the SAZ-1000D? Thanks,
  12. Cool. Thanks,
  13. I was going to order these options: D1 Cooling Flatwind Daily Do I need Extreme lead? My setup will be 2 18" FI BL connected to Sundown 3000D. This will be my daily setup. Thanks,
  14. Anymore SAX-100.2? And were do I order? Thanks,

My setup will consist of 4 Kinetiks 2400 to 2 Sundown 3K's pushing 2-18" FI BTL's. Alt will be a 300amp. I wanted to run the amps at .5ohms because of the impedence rise. I really dont play systems like others do, Just like to have something to show off Every now and then..

    Got it.. Thanks,

Damn!!! 800watts sounds like a big difference.. Also I meant what would be wrong with running the amp at .5ohms besides voiding the warranty? Could the amp handle it?
  18. tv559 replied to tv559's topic in Sundown Audio
I figured at .5ohms I could get some more power out of the amp. I see alot of people running at .5ohms but dont know if thats what they run daily. Is it really that much more power hungry going from 1ohm to .5ohm?

Would there be anything wrong with running the 3000 at .5ohms DAILY? Thanks,
  20. I don't know which ohm I want? Which is why I asked I don't want to burn anything up lol. It will be connected to a Kicker KX 2500.1 which does 2500watts at 2 ohms
  21. I was wondering what options I should do and what Ohm sub I should get. Each sub will be connected to a Kicker Kx2500.1 Thanks in advance,
