How so? Nightshade 18 are run in 4.5 - 6 cubes per their specs.

well I've got about 5.5 cubes net. Todays 18's I've seen can be comfortably run in that space and obviously 2-12's will

I have enough airspace to properly port either (2) 12"s or (1) 18" subwoofer. I would like to spend 900 or less on just the subwoofer(s). What would you choose? It will be ran on a sundown 3500D.

I know on the Imprint once you use the Imprint you cant go back and change the crossover points, unless you exit the "imprint" mode..I guess that just answered my own question..

Hi all, I will be using the Alpine Imprint Module with my Alpine iDA-x305S. My Question is, will I have to use the disc and mic tuning kit (KTX-H100) for tuning or when I plug the unit in; will it unlock all the tuning features of the imprint and I can tune it manually? because that's what I would prefer.. thanks.

So for all that wanted updates, My CD Pro horns came in and I ordered the Imprint processor, Tuning kit and Sundown SAX 100.4D. Now all thats left is the CDA-117 and the 10" mid bass and im set for the install!!

ok, so I'm working on my front stage right now. However, I have a Z 15" V2 and a 2000D and was originally going to add a second amp and subwoofer and wall it off behind the rear seats in my scion. BUT with the recent publicity/impressiveness (is that even a word?) of the SA series, I was thinking 4 12" SA series off of a 2500D (giving them each their rated rms) would be a better option. So, it would be a little less power but a ton more cone area. what say you? think it would be louder?

Picked up a set of the cd1 pros full-size from diyma. I couldn't pass up the deal. And he said they fit in his scion tc.

I'd say as long as the crossovers are fully adjustable, then yes. if you want to look at the specs of both HU and imprint, I think you'll agree. However, I may have missed something.

So the CDA-117 with Imprint is the next best option?

Just confirming I would need to have the 4 channel? because the CDA-117 states its rear and front pre out are fadable. and trust me, If I could find a 880prs,I would. they are so scarce and imnot looking to wait months and months to find one so I can finish my install ya know? so I should really not bother with the imprint huh and try to get a PRS unit?

I'd suggest I read, and keep up with threads better. I now see you are going with the 117 and Imprint unit, that should be just fine. Idk why I thought you were going with some cheap Sony unit. Sorry about that. LOL. i was like " jeeze theres no satisfying you people!"
