  1. Hi Andy Sub up, port up. Port at the end of the tailgate so it can counter load off the rear. I'm a little worried about the roof being able to take the pressure but nothing a bit of second skin damplifier can't fix
  2. Lookin real good! You'll have to get some vids up man
  3. Agree with that part. Not impossible but you need to consider the amount of motor your going to need at a cost of efficiency too. For which, theres a host of drivers on the market which will equally give you great results. The idea you are thinking about has been done by Alpine on a series of bandpass enclosures they did for the Japanese market, i saw it in Vegas few years back at CES. You'll also need to reverse polarity one coil... or reverse charge one of the motors, either way both work as good as each other.
  4. Can't wait
  5. Great work! Look forward to the vids
  6. excellent number! Hows she play music?
  7. Depends on what you want to achieve. I've found 4.5cubes tuned to 33hz to give excellent slam and impact. Great for rap music. If your playing dirty chopped and screwed remixs, try 5.5-6cubes tuned to 30hz, it'll defo move some serious air around the 25-33hz area
  8. No, AA/Fi didn't buy TC Sounds or Audiopulse. TC Sounds, well there adminstrators did!... had a big auction off and AA purchased the tooling for the baskets.

Hi Adam, Glad your happy with the results. I'm sure with your abilitys theres more to come!
  10. BTL/Mayhem should be similaly priced in the US. The SMD sub, that'll be fair bit more.
  11. Some more for you. * 15" and 18" Dual 1 & 2 Ohm models. * Double stack FEA optimized motor * 4" 4 layer Flat wire aluminum coil * Triple layer reinforced collar * Four progressive spiders * Ultra rigid reinforced cone body * Hybrid foam surround * FHC Motor technology (8 Axial channels) * Triple Woven tinsel leads * Rubber magnet boot * Cast Alluminum basket * Wrap round rubber gasket * Silver 8AWG Push terminals * 3500W RMS
  12. Try 2.5cubes tuned right at 30Hz. No need to tune lower. I would suggest a subsonic filter at around 23Hz on a 12db/octave slope. If you want to get more specific drop us an e-mail sales'at'bladeice.com and we'll see if we can help anymore
  13. Way to go man
  14. Do you have the 4x 18" BTLs? You could try a 6th order BP, parallel tuned. They are thought to be peaky but with little time spent on getting the tuning right they can sound pretty good and give an extra few free dBs when it matters. Quasi (series) tuned sound a little nicer at the exspense of dBs
  15. That works

Its a musical note to indicate 'pitch' I guess we could add in F-clef to symbolise the sub bass notes too. AA / Fi subs are essentially musical subs, those who know the know will probably appreciate our background towards music from all levels
  17. http://www.talkaudio.co.uk/vbb/showthread.php?t=269943 According to this thread you already have a Havoc 18 BUSTED
  18. http://audioforum.termpro.com/cgi-bin/ubb/...ic;f=4;t=017431 What I was trying to explain...
  19. Just checked and you have the other version of the kit from 'Airlift' to the one that we have.
  20. Are you one of Tims customers from NL? Sure we can help, little more info on volume etc
  21. Hey man, those air shocks look similar to mine.. Did u use the white nylon tool to center the springs? I was told that u need to have at least 40% of the weight in there otherwise those brackets tend to put pressure at the top of the spring seat and break off.. not intially but over time. Hell, i have alot more weight to content with, like 3000lbs+
  22. Whats the application? I didn't find the HCCA to sound nice. Gets loud, but doesn't sound nice. BTLs are way more snappy and melodic to my ear. All the lower models are just as impressive, if not more..
  23. No problem man, enjoy
  24. Your Q15 left the building this morning. Look out for the yellow DHL van tomorrow
  25. The Q will be a good bit louder than the JL, and dare i say sonically give you some amazing listening pleasure. Drop me an e-mail - am[at]bladeice.com before you order
