Testing one of these out before i order 4 more to complete the setup Both amps @ .5, havent clamped them yet....i might do that today, but theyll do rated power from other peoples results ive seen Full tilt not clipping the amps itll take the power all day long....when i clip it full tilt gets a bit louder but can start to smell after a min or 2 of a constant song. Watch it in HQ to do it a lil more justice....its only about 3/5th the way up, being as the amp is at .25 i dont wanna be outside with it full tilt in case somethin happens. I need more power ASAPPPP Only meters 150.6 legal, but plays insanely low...and hits everything.....just wait til i TRIPLE the power

So with them not strapped and running MaxxLink, you still need to set the gains individually? Only when its strapped you do not?

Ive heard from 2 separate people running 40.1s, that they used a toggle switch and hooked remote straight from battery ok? Still it's not required. Might have been mandated by their installs. So youve ran one with remote off HU?

Been asking a few people with 40.1s about the ones i just bought, but ill ask here as well: Have heard i need to run remote from batt because 40.1 needs 12v remote to turn on? Cant have them touch, or they protect? Also, has anyone else had to give them RCA input to turn on? (As in for them to power up they need RCA plugged in and radio on vol 1?) Do they like higher rca voltage, say that of a MaxxLink? Just askin before i put these in Thanks

Have you tried other amps in your car, or tried the amp in another vehicle to single out the amp and not your car? I know you are sure its not your car but why not do it to be POSITIVE and not just assuming?

What did that white Explorer have and what number?

Welp im getting a 12" BTL from my friend and its fully loaded with all options but he bought it maybe like a year ago or so. Now im wanting to recone it to a 18", now my question is do i have the option of adding the HiXmCoil to the recone or is it already understood you get that with a fully loaded recone or what? Thanks for the responses
