  1. Maybe it's time to order my DP's....
  2. Thanks a lot bro, we'll see how it goes.
  3. Hearing from some people to run AGM as secondaries and a normal battery as a starting battery. Looking like I'm probably going to swing by WalMart and pick up an Everstart MAXX-78-N that is a direct fit for the car. I really appreciate all the help guys.
  4. Which Everstart from Wally World would be my best bet audio-neon? I need to drop her in and get the car started this weekend.
  5. I'd love an XS D3400 but I just can't swing the money.
  6. I don't have to use Walmart, I just like the fact that they'll replace it come hell or high water and they're easily accessible. If there's a different auto shop and a battery I can get somewhat close by I'd be happy. I just don't want to sit around waiting for something online.
  7. I guess I don't need one just thought that was my best option, if not please let me know. This is not my expertise and I won't pretend it is.
  8. Going to be picking up my 88 Cadillac Eldorado this weekend and it needs a new battery under the hood. I need the biggest bang for my buck. I'm looking at WalMart since Marine Batteries are cheap. Any suggestions on which has the most oomph without having to tear under hood to fit something. I'll be running extra batteries in the back for the future, but right now I'll just need to run a Carver PMA 2062 for front stage and a Helix SPXL1000B in the future to run a pair of DP's. My budget is around 100 bucks.
  9. This is what drives people nuts... http://lmgtfy.com/?q=what+is+MLV http://lmgtfy.com/?q=what+is+a+speaker+baffle%3F
  10. Word. I'm really drunk at the moment, but I think DP is the way to go. Thanks bro. And Helix is great I'm considering even buying the Competition components. Go hard. .
  11. Welcome, there's no better place to be. Everyone is really helpful here and will go above and beyond if you listen, not just "hear".
  12. Wardens are beautiful but they are outta my price range. I always wanted a 21" DP but I think it might have been just to say I have a 21" sub. I know this is awful... but I love the DP logo, and would love to have them back there, but for the Cadillac I'm going to be running the Helix SPXL-1000B, and the Mazda the 5.1 or the new 10.1. I don't really know if the SPXL will do the DP's justice.
  13. Hey guys, I heard a set of Death Row 12s today and I am THOROUGHLY impressed. Ton of clean, hard bass without losing much musicality so to speak. I was just wondering if anyone has experience with both the DR's and the DP's and if you could answer a question. I've heard from a few people that the DP's are burp princesses and don't sound very good on music. Is this the case? Or do they perform similar to the DR's? Are they burp princesses? The DR's to me sounded like a lower power xcon (don't get mad or nothing, just opinion). Looking to run a pair in my cadillac and a single in my wife's 2010 Speed 3. Opinions?
  14. Sometimes walls look like crap. This looks fantastic. Clean.
  15. no doubt it has this wiring tool that is great for shorting shit out . I lol'd
  16. Your interior skills are amazing man. I love good interior work. Changes everything!
  17. I'll find it and get you a number. Look for edit in a few minutes. EDIT: PAC OS-311B works with factory BOSE and non-BOSE systems. http://pac-audio.com/productDetails.aspx?ProductId=288&CategoryID=26
  18. Hey man, not to threadjack, but I listen to music on my home system in FLAC and since I haven't found a headunit that will play FLAC, can you start and possibly pin a thread on the process of this. I don't use iTunes, I actually run RockBox that will play OGG and MP3's (yea I use Linux boo). Can you show us what ripping program you use and what settings to run? I can run in WINE so don't worry about it being Linux compatible. Just a good ripper and the best settings. Thanks bro.
  19. ESPN ScoreCenter. You can set it for your favorite teams and sports only. I love that app.
  20. I like the IA6.5's, Helix P246P's, Diamond Audio H600s's, or Hertz HSK's. Focal has some higher end stuff but that's usually out of my price range, and seems like yours too, but they sure sound great as well.
  21. That actually makes a pretty good difference. 1.75cuft NET tuned to 32hz with enough port area to keep the port velocity to 25m/s is definitely attainable at those dimensions. Funny how a few inches can make such a big difference isn't it? That's what she said. *giggity
  22. I would pick up that used ZCON of course. Used price is always better. bigjon isn't a retard so I'm sure it hasn't been abused. Personally I always love a good opportunity when it arises!
  23. In there like swim wear.
