Are going to flare the ports. If you heat the PVC with a heat gun and use a bowl to push the heated end on you can make your own flares out of the PVC tubing. There is a YouTube video of it. And the box looks awesome!!! Thumbs up

Just so it's clear I am looking for more power. I really do not want to sell if I do not have an amp for replacement. The few amps I have been looking at are crescendo bc5500, dd-m4a, b2 audio, ct sounds at4000 or 7000. If anyone has a lead to any of these lets me know. Thanks

I have a few items i am looking at getting rid of if any one has an interest let me know. 1. Clarion 746 eq in working condition. plug to connect the power,ground, and remote was missing when I purchased so I hard wired it. $30.00 2. AudioControl matrix 6 channel line driver bought this brand new in October of 2013 works 100% $100.00 3.AQ 6.5 comp set $75.00 I bought this used and never install. 4.Sundown SAZ3500D amplifier. $625.00 I am looking for more power say in the 5k-7k range. willing to trade/or sell. Just depends on the deal and situation. I am currently still using this amp. runs at 14.8 volts no complaints just want more power. now on with the pictures.

that is an awesome report. Sounds like an amazing trip. Already working on my wife for next year. will see I can't wait for slamology, that will be my first show. I imagine my trunk will not be noticed amongst all the bigger builds but I have worked hard on it. so looking forward to the show.

so dependant on which driver I choose will depend on which direction it is ported? Why would what dirver I choose matter to whether my port exhaust goes towards the front of cabin, at driver/passenger, up, down, back?

I am looking at some new midbass drivers and it looks that they should be ported. So if and when I build this enclosure in/on my door is there a recommendation on where to point the port in this application? thanks in advance.

I see you used a pocket hole to assemble this enclosure. I have been thinking of using this method. From what I have read it is a great method to use in cabinets just not alot of information with our type of application. Have you been doing that for a while? Have you had good success? Any downfalls to using this method? Would you recommend it to others?

agreed. Op get some duct seal from a hardware store and play around with different locations and aiming. I will get them moved/pointed in another direction then.

This is something I will work on and post what I find as well. Currently it seems that most of my sound comes out of the tweeter and less through the midbass driver. but I will hopefully confirm this by trying each driver independently as advised from above.

my head unit only has 3 band parametric eq. Bass, mid, and treble 3 options per setting Q, wdth, and level the passive crossover that came with the kit has settings on it as well

not sure what you mean by Lpad? there are different settings on the passive crossover that came with Component set. it is ear piercing at higher volumes. I have been making adjustments mostly just turing gain down on amp and it seems to be helping.
