so anything 87 sees, 30 will put out. so will 87a so if not using 87a make sure you cover it because it will be live. if 87 sees ground then thats what 30 will see when switched by 12, or visa versa

actually nick you make a good point, but not in this case. lol he said 2 type rs sealed is loud enough... you will smash him, get low and sound quite decent with an 18inch q in a 7cube box ported 29-33ish with 1200rms watts. thats of course if the install is done right and the box is designed well

if you got more than a couple things connected to the remote, id suggest using a relay. just because lol. nah but seriously thats how ive always done it. relays are very simple as well

1 mono amp 2 subs you should do dual 1s parallel thatll get you to 1 ohm. or in your case 0.7 ohms. unless you get kicker amps i think they are only stable at 2 ohms i

lol damn some mad power for them qs huh. the BTL should do ok off the 40.1 at 1 ohm of course non clipped. but 2 15s might be louder. considering you blow things up id go with 2 15 btls with 2k to each that way the btls will have more leaway for your clipmode actions.

and why sealed, if you want it to be loud. build a better ported enclosure or possibly a tline of some sort for that single 15 icon. spend the extra cash on a good set of components and run it active off of 100.4. keep that amp if you already got it. its a good amp.
