  1. frankie doesnt seem to be doing to bad with them. but of course sundown for the win
  2. i can only imagine how much work that was. and for sure that second alt will do miracles.
  3. Not regularly on music it doesn't. no... not just playing some music show off songs like young jeezy i forget the one song that pulls like crazy... but your right not every song pulls 300 amps. actually if ran at 1 ohm i believe the 3000d pulls out max draw around 277 amps FYI and i highly doubt you are at exactly 1 ohm. but this is just fyi. fyi fyi fyi
  4. talk about dumb. 4 hours on a fast disharge front battery. lol. what a waste of a good amp
  5. not to mention easy. lol i love when cars come in and the battery is already in the back. no need to pull one whole side of the car apart.
  6. i dont think he is going for true sq but more towards great sounding bass thatll get decently loud.
  7. very nice, but judging by your burps and your bassrace score id say you need a better electrical or a better song and youll be hitting at least 140 on bassrace..

GEARSTICKS he is trying to help you so you could figure it out... your looking for a few things in a good car audio battery. cca ca and AH. by determining how much amperage hours a battery is rated you can decide how many would be sufficient by looking at your amps max draw. maybe some others will chime in on this because im not the best with batteries. when getting multiple batteries you should make sure you get somewhat of a high output alternator. trust me its one of the best 400 dollar investments ive ever made in car audio.
  9. stealth replied to djphatbone's topic in Sundown Audio
well my friend if thats what your looking for than a 4th order will have the ability to play most types of music while hitting a wider range of frequencies and get really loud.
  10. stealth replied to djphatbone's topic in Sundown Audio
id say do the 4th order first. if its tuned right i know youll be happy
  11. Pics please i love Custom Built Subs should be in, purchased them about 3 weeks ago.
  12. i just read that he has 4 group 31 batts, a 200+amp alternator and after he typed it seems like he coulld pull it off. dont be mad big baby.
  13. you should do like me and get custom btls.....
  14. SEC is it 13.7 in the back with no music or from the music. maybe try get those back batts on a charger so theyll be fresh and last longer.
  15. well like sundownz "jacob" said the difference that you can actually hear is slight or maybe none at all. if your going comps i say its a go. and if you have that much electrical id say do it.
  16. holy cow. 600+ amperage hours for a single 3000d. all i gotta say is....................... good job on the electrical. do it right or dont do it at all.
  17. install all day. everyday
  18. tweetss must be crossed off at at least 2khrz....
  19. and im sure if the abunai comes on here he will show you the thread that you got pwned. he is a sundown sales rep fyi. and i work at a car audio shop FYI.
  20. i never thought i would see a team mate have such little hopes for a amp of that caliber. but you are right. it seems like it would be a waste to gamble a saz away for no good reason. remember when theabunai shut you down in that other thread. lolimus maximus was that entertaining. i cant seem to find it. you make like you know, but know so little. and even that vid of you showing us your voltage drop shiit. for 1 i seen your foot hit the gas peddle about 3 or 4 times on the corner of the screen, and 2 you werent even playing it at full tilt. i would love to thee that topic. as for the video i had addressed that. i have even made vids proving that my voltage does not go low. and i never said that you were wrong.. i ONLY SAID THAT YOU HAVE LITTLE FAITH. i never told him that it would work no problems i never said that your a lier, keep cryin. and i dont think it would be smart to go half ohm daily. infact i talked to SEC about this before he ever made the topic. haha you are a retard from reading your posts im now dumber. and i was refering to your "proof my voltage doesnt drop" vid. when you were trying to prove to everyone i seen your foot hit the gas at least 3 times and you werent full tilting it big baby. lmfao
  21. well dpeending on what you are trying to power. you could easily mess up going active and blow a tweeter up in 2 seconds fyi. but usually 1st channel-left tweeter 2nd channel-right tweeter 3rd- left driver 4th-right driver.
  22. so your saying net per driver is 4.37 so 123 sq inches of port will set you right at about 14sq inches per cube which should be ideal for the t1. i know your drawing is off for sure, the second port walls look like 1 inch when they should look like half of the port entrance 3inches on each side.
  23. active setup is when you wire your mids and highs directly to a good 4 channel amp that has the filters youd need to crossover at 2k +. so this means no passive crossovers. just using eq and filters off of the deck and amp. you must have a good 4 channel for instance the sundown 100.4 is very active friendly.
  24. i never thought i would see a team mate have such little hopes for a amp of that caliber. but you are right. it seems like it would be a waste to gamble a saz away for no good reason. remember when theabunai shut you down in that other thread. lolimus maximus was that entertaining. i cant seem to find it. you make like you know, but know so little. and even that vid of you showing us your voltage drop shiit. for 1 i seen your foot hit the gas peddle about 3 or 4 times on the corner of the screen, and 2 you werent even playing it at full tilt.
  25. i never thought i would see a team mate have such little hopes for a amp of that caliber. but you are right. it seems like it would be a waste to gamble a sad away for no good reason. you mean you never thought a team member would be so helpful and steer guys away from problems as i have tested 3000ds at 1/2ohms with great results but i think i know what im doing a little more than this guy. 1 ohm he could clipp it, get voltage drop and still be kinda safe. at half he wont be.
