  1. what are you planning on doing again? too much port area and youll start losing musicality. too big a box youll be able to feed it less power, therefore not getting as loud.
  2. Cry me a river, cool story bro easy, justin.

big daddy i think i blew my speakers need help looking for head inverting subs. sounds like a perv forums.
  4. BAN??????? Why? Don't take things so literal... lol its funny you say dont take things so literal. its a joke."haha"
  5. dude, what you want is 37hz tuning with 16 square inches of port. why did you say anything about musical in the first place.
  6. if you calculate cone area, or if you have EYES you will see that square subs have more cone area than round. not saying that makes all the difference.
  7. i did a quick design for this guy on RE since thats the only thing he is familiar with. i told you its 13.3 square inches of port per cube. i told you its .75 cubes so you can throw more power. someone tell this guy that 1 8inch sub will sound louder in a CRX then in a full size truck.
  8. if you have to ask this question, then NO, it cant.
  9. i cant wait for a low end monster. 35mm xmax, 2000rms, recommended tuning sealed or below 30hz.
  10. i think itll not be an even thousand. itll be like 7500, 6500, 8500.
  11. Very good idea Correct me anyone if im wrong, but that shouldnt affect the tuning just the internal cu ft of the box. it does affect tuning. making your box space smaller while keeping the same port area and length will raise tuning. not significant enough to hear by ear in this case.
  12. welcome. fyi an SPL box is not made to be musical or sound good on music. port area is usually high, box is usually small and tuning is very high.
  13. yup, philip posted some numbers, but he is missing 1, i think because he is posting from his phone. but i think his box will be very close to the one i gave you.
  14. hey OP are you using super tweets to match the SQ of those n3s????
  15. and yeah those numbers are correct. you generally you want 12-16 sq inches of port per cube. but since your box is less than 1 cube, it has only 10 sq inches of port.
  16. you can add 1 very small one in the L angle of the port.
  17. if you look at RE calc STEP 2 shows the cuts you would have to make to piece the box together. id suggest you cut all those pieces out, then write what piece is what with a pencil so you dont get confused.
  18. plug these numbers in the RE calc. these are the RED numbers 19 9.5 14 14 0.75 1.25 12 after displacement you should be tuned to 33-34hz. you should have around 13.3 square inches of port per cube. and cubic ft. net should be approx .75 cubes. this box should do well with 400-600 watts. according to jacob. you should be able to hit somewhat lows but it should be musical. try it out and let us know on HCA.
  19. when were you told not to go over 12 square inches of port??? i said to try 14. try building a standard l port instead itll be fine with many options to position the box. how about i give you the numbers to punch in the RE CALC since you are familiar with that.
  20. before we jump to conclusions...lets find out what all the settings are at first, and that wouldnt hurt a little...try a lot. 13cu ft... read my post BRO CHACHO. i said as long as his SSF aint set ridiculous high then its the box. how could you worry about High pass settings on a sub amp.
  21. ill tell you something that might hurt a little. he built the box wrong.... as long as you have a monoblock with low pass. and SSF ISNT set at 40hz then he built it wrong.
  22. nice box!!!
  23. lol not to mention that youll have liver failure by 26 and wont be able to lift after that. lol there is a reason why it works so well. because its too good to be true.
