If you are going to upgrade go at least up to 1500rms sub and amp. Make a big jump that way are more likely to be satisfied. You can always turn it down if it's too much and it's nice to have headroom.

I tried to mock up the specs in winisd and came up with 9^ft tuned to about 21hz for flat response. I am new to the program though, so I don't trust my results. lol

so you just want one sub then? everything i have heard about the btl's is very good. i think they will take 3000 all day if you have all upgrades for cooling and power handling, and assuming you have it in a well built enclosure. but you better be sure you have your electrical ready for it or you will surely ruin at least one link in the system if not more. hopefully some other members with more experience will give there two cents. good luck
