Or a contact cement. See what others have to offer before you run out and do it though.

I'd say sand up the box REAL good, drill some really small holes possibly and then use an epoxy.

That would complicate things a touch... I'd go ahead and shoot Kevin an email asking him how the VC's are set up so you can get a better idea. How do you like your Maelstroms by the way?

Hmmm, interesting. Not really sure why it's done that way. (If I'm understanding it correctly.) Regardless, you'll still get a 4ohm load, so it really isn't that big of a deal.

Is that a Brahma? I've always wanted to play with one of those.

Fi BL Sound Quality
Because he stated the reason he didn't pick the Icon is because of the "LACK" of output. The Q and Icon still get loud. I think a lot of people think that they are quite because of the "SQ" badge. You still want a BL though.

Pretty nuts, Penguin. Makes one wonder when they'll reach the 'limit.'

Welcome to the IHoP
Fuckers raised the limit to ~$200. Everything under pays 2.5%, Everything over pays 19% + 2-3%. And they are very harsh now Thank God the trick with value declaration still works. O_o I can smuggle some goods for you if you want. All I want in return is you to help me fiberglass... I have a lot more to learn untill I can teach We all saw your Jeep box, don't be modest now...

I just looked and saw that it's dual 8ohm coils. That will still work, you can wire that down to 4ohm. I've made both of my boxes down firing with a rear port. Mainly to make it a little more discreet.

If the Shiva comes with D4 coils, I don't see a reason why you couldn't run it! Obviously, you'll want to upgrade down the line, but for now it will work.

No experience with that, nor have I really heard of anyone who has used it. I'd only buy once If I were you. Pick the O Audio or the Dayton....both will do a good job.

Welcome to the IHoP
Probably going to order my Peerless SLS here in about 2-3 weeks and start on the midbass! (Probably should do the mid and tweet first, but I figure it's going to be easier to learn this way.) *Buying an extra kick panel and door panel to test on too....hehe

I would rather go with a Crown rack mount too. I'm not sure if his budget would allow. I have read to stay away from the Behringer rack mounts though. They do their job, but I guess a lot of people have problems with noise and have to buy a BFD. I also read they don't do rated power. What I read and heard, not my personal experience.

electrical upgrade?
Try it out and monitor the voltage with a DMM back by the amp. If your voltage is dropping down in the 11~ volts range you need to upgrade. Start with the big3. Test again, see if that helps. Put a big starting battery in, see if that helps. Do a secondary cell in the trunk. That SHOULD fix your problems (if there are any to begin with). Oh, and you're going to want to run 0/1 gauge wire back there.
