  1. hahah. Thank you.
  2. I would personally go 12" ported. The way you stated things, I think you would rather have a 15" sealed.
  3. Looks nice, easier to navigate now. (Not that it was terribly hard to begin with.)
  4. Is your box held together with caulk??
  5. if the component set was, lets say, 4 ohms and the amp was 100x2 at 4 ohms it would send each side 100 watts then the cross over splits it up between the tweet and mid. how much power they really see is alittle more complicated and i cant explain it... Have to be careful with your wording here, as the crossover splits up the frequencies between the tweet and mid, not the power. Both the tweet and mid would still receive 100 watts each. This is because they aren't playing the same frequencies. I'm not doubting you here, but why is that? If you hook two subs up to an amp it would split the power between the two, right? Why would it work differently with the comps?
  6. I would run the Sundown.
  7. Goals? Budget?
  8. If you're running components I'd look into the Sundown SAX125.2.
  9. Looks great! Make sure to take some vids when you get those SSD's broken in.
  10. What features are you looking for? Do you want to go active? Budget?
  11. What size of speaker?
  12. The amp will work, but most everyone around here is going to advise you to upgrade when you get the financial opportunity.
  13. I'm going to recommend the welding wire. Best stuff I have used. BUT Knu Konceptz is great too!
  14. From your picture it looks like a double DIN. You will need a dash kit, if that's the case (or depending on how skilled you are you can make a plate). You should also have a cage of some sort to slide your CD player into. Just search on Google for that to show what I mean.

I misread his topic. I assumed it was a D2 and he was going to run it at 1 ohm. EDIT: I'm an idiot.

Do you already have that amp? Also, you can blow the sub without clipping the signal. Too much power is too much power, plain and simple.
  17. Makes me wonder how you stay in business with all these presales and specials, Jacob!
  18. Why do most people tend to run sub up port back then? Unless that's what you meant..
  19. Bahahaha, I'll try to get some video's of the last time I went off roading from my buddy. EDIT: The T-bird was not involved...sadly.
  20. You get that box figured out yet, Duran?
  21. Are the Hifonics strappable?
  22. Maybe so you can buy that other stuff???? Upgrade your front battery. When you have more $$$ buy a second one for the rear. Then when you have more $$$ buy an alternator.
  23. I like to build my enclosures with Google Sketchup. It gives you a 3D view and you can get your cuts off of that.
