  1. i wouldnt do anything to the woofer which may void your warranty id try and get a hold of nick or scott and send it in to them

  3. well for the speaker, do you want to get loud or do you want sound quality? wall it off
  4. does the amp have protection mode? what kind of amp is it?
  5. spybot search and destroy is always helpful too
  6. as everyone else said you were def clipping, as for the 12''q its a good speaker i run 2, your gonna wanna get a better amp, if your gonna run 1 amp look int the alpine pdx series nice and small and 93% efficient
  7. yea the window slides into a gasket not to worried about it breaking but just the noise it creates, there also vents behind back seat which i could seal off, i plan to dynamat the rear where the enclosure is as for the rattling it comes from my passenger side door where some tabs are broken that hold the door in place, the roof, and the vents all which could be fixed with time and money

  9. they would still hit hard with the right box but, they could definately take a bigger beating then that id upgrade to that second amp once they are broken in

  20. your lights dimming is normal, just get a farad cap and it will ease the flow of current and no more lights will dim
  21. and like i said in your last post id check on your top board and reinforce it with another piece, scott told me to do so with my 2 q's
  22. is that only 1 piece of 3/4 wood in that box for the top? id look into reinforcing that with another piece
  23. its not always the sub that get the loudest ive seen 10's hit 150+ dbs, its the box
  24. how about go with 2 10'' fi q's they sound great for rock and save some space
  25. i dont think you will go wrong with a sealed 15, escpially if you want that tight, deep, and accurate bass
