  1. How do you have the output wires from the amp going to the passive crossovers? Then from the crossovers to the mids and tweeters? Also, what is the highpass crossover set at on the amplifier? Or am I missing something and you're just using the head unit to power the components? If so, then where does the EQ come into play? If you have an amp for the components, turn the head unit crossovers off and use the ones on the amp.

I'd like to start a petition to keep ohio state out of a BCS bowl game next year. Boise State should have gotten in over them this year.

Ha, well, it was on TV. You should have watched!

Anybody watching the Fiesta Bowl see the girl sitting next to Colt Mccoy's parents? I don't know if she's his sister, girlfriend, or what, but she's smokin'.

They probably eat it thinking it's regular gravel. Birds like that eat gravel to help digestion.

not always. It all depends on the amp you want to run. Just match the sub impedance to match what amp you want to have.

holy shit it works. I was for sure it would pull the cheap door frame edging off of the wall, but it held. The tricep dips allow you to go down about 2" so they aren't spectacular and you could do them for an hour. I actually like the pushup because my wrists have gotten sprained over the years and hurt when I do pushups on the floor, but holding onto these bars avoids that strain. wow. I hope it was only like 20 bucks, but it's still surprising.

I got this Iron Gym workout bar for Christmas. It apparently hooks onto the top of the door frame and you can do pullups in three variations, plus it helps hold your feet for situps, do pushups, and tricep dips. It looks fairly worthless, actually like a huge box of crap, but I'm about to put it together and try. If it falls off of the wall while I'm doing pullups I'm going to sue.

Oh no, 8am classes and school until 3!?!?! Sounds like........high school! And fridays off? Come on, that's a good schedule.
  10. I would probably upgrade the battery to battery power wire to 1/0 gauge. The power still has to get from the alternator to the front battery then to the rear battery. You may also want to upgrade the wire from the alternator to the battery, the battery ground, and the chassis to engine block ground.
  11. It's hard to tell size, but is that only 4 gauge wire going to the amp from the front battery? And what's with the butt connector on the other red power wire coming out? I hope your fuse is just out of sight up there, too. Also, have you tried turning your sub box around 180* so that the port is on the tailgate side instead of the seat side?

What amp did you have on it? Were you playing it basically to full potential (full excursion)? Did it make any funny noises and is the sub siezed or otherwise not working now?
  13. I edited your title so that it made grammatical sense. What are your goals for the system? I take it BP = bandpass? What kind of frequency range would you like?

    darn, work.

Was it 20 degrees down there with no heat in the house? Everybody is dressed so warmly.
  16. So I take it roof flexing is your problem? If so I think you just need to add mass to it.
  17. the sub will break in by itself over time. If you play it lightly it will just take longer to break in. My Mag sounded different (and better) after 1-2 weeks of playing time.

Cleaned the bathroom this morning. If any of those people using it today messes it up I'm going to be pissed. And somebody is in there right now taking a shower and I need to get in there to get ready to leave. Going to grill some sirloin steaks at a friends house while KU plays Tennessee in a bit. Big test for them.

damn the washer is being super noise and knocking around. I'm probably pissing off the other 5 people that are sleeping in the house. oops. Well, payback for when they woke me up when they came home at 1-2am the last few nights.

I was gonna do the na na na na part, but then I was like nah. That's the awkward part to type. And if there's one thing I hate, it's being awkward.

Pretty sure the gf and I are going to have one of these sessions once we finally get some time (alone). It's been a while.

Made a fire tonight, it was cozy. I love wood fires. They're more work than gas, but I like them much better. Had a couple HUGE pops from some pine wood my roommate brought from home, they sounded like little grenades going off in the fireplace. Scared me half to death. A couple small embers got through the chain mail and over the tiles and landed on the carpet, of course causing burns. Oh well, it's a rental place and the carpet totally sucks anyways. But if it were my house I'd probably be pissed. Then again, I would have more than a 1' section of tile out from the fireplace if it were my house.
