  11. Your the "dumb" one I described above. Tight bass has NOTHING to do with sub size. So you are saying that you can get the same tight bass out of a 15 that you can out of a 10 I think not.. I know that the box has a lot to do with it..... But if you don't know how to build a box you wont get tight bass.. Dumb ass. Lets see you get tight bass out of anything else. and in tell you can prove it keep your friggin mouth shut. If you want to go out of your way to be ignorant I'll play. I can be VARY ignorant. want to see Hmm, yeah probably not a good idea to badmouth a moderator if you want to continue posting here. Especially when you're wrong. If you don't know how to build a box you won't get tight bass out of a 10" either. Ever been to a club with a concert playing? If they have dedicated subwoofers and not just 2-way monitors, a lot of the time the tight bass you feel is from 18" drivers. And I'll put in that my ported 15" SI Mag v.2 is one of the most accurate subs I've heard. I did say that the box makes the tight bass, and if you are a mod it not a good reflection on the forum if you are ignorant. And my JBL WGTI 10's are the tighest most controlled subs on the market. the Wgti is the tightest most musical sub I have ever heard in car period.... the differential drive coil / motor assembly is an unfair comparison to a conventional motor design BUT....I SMOKED about 5 or 6 of them in 6 months completely filling the car with smoke EVERY TIME........and JBL does NOT sell recone kits for them......... ............. FAIL!!.............LMAO
  12. if set up correctly 10"can be really impressive my last 10" set up droped the lows better than any of my friends systems ( you know the ones that think you need large woofers for the low stuff..LOL)
  13. I would go with the Icon...I have gotten some just rediculous results from them in the 20 to 30hz range....actually good results rights down to 10hz..very good definition of notes I could feel the intensity of the foot pedal on the bass guitar with both the 10" and 12" Icons and I don't think the 15" would be any different
  14. a little test fit before the bracing and Lexan
  15. I am waiting for the doors to get back from Upholstery the whole interior will slowly change to match them hopefully I'll have time to get a start on the enclosure/amp rack this coming week
  16. this is the first of four projects going to Taznania.......................
  17. a little project for my friend SPIROS in Taznania East Africa for a pair of RF T212D2 , a T2500 db , two T600-4 , two 3sixty's and a Lightning Audio 50 Farad Cap space is very limited.........this is for a Susuki SUV
  18. I was amazed on the low end out put from the Icon 10's 142db @ 20hz and topped at 145db @ 27hz TL on the dash doors closed with just two Icon 10"...LMAO they sound really good at lower power levels so you don't have to crank it to get the sound
  19. I use insane power on my subs and I have never seen a tinsel lead burn with a clean signal... you were definately clipping the hell out of your amp...
  20. the unloading is even as long as the woofers can evenly cup the internal volume if the one sub was choked out in the corner it would make a difference but there is sufficient space around each sub...
  21. glad to see it's getting used..always liked that design
