  1. just upload them into your forum photo gallery , from there you add them to topics
  2. I wouldn't say competition destroys the hobby but I find that I go thru a lot less subs now that I don't use bass cd's and do useless test tones for the mic
  3. I knew that sub wouldn't collect dust forever..............
  4. I tried a few DSP's..... got an Audison Bit One sitting on the floor of my closet collecting dust.... it added a slight noise floor to the 80PRS and really I gained nothing sometimes more is not better

  8. Happy Birthday
  9. 72 ?? wow my bad the only way they are going to find 72 virgins each is if they are all under 10 years old......
  10. it's NOT going to work........... you NEED a FLUX CAPACITOR ........................
  11. from past experience the W7 sounded bottom heavy and mushy past 3cf and jump's the nest with out a SSF..... I was running a Crown BPX 2200.1 with the testing nice sub but be carefull with clipping the amp...they don't like that very much and they manifest motor noise when the gain is turned too high personally I classify the W7 as a SQ sub... it's loud but if your goal is just loud for the money you can do better with a sub that can handle much more abuse
  12. to the origional poster...... you have choosen one of the best component sets period , now do some research and work on those doors , there are a few decent build logs around that you can look at to get an Idea what to do to properly deaden the doors and mount a baffle I had 2 sets of these puppies in my last system ...... and as soon as the $$ allows they will be in my current install

  14. if he is selling everything and needs the cash I doubt he will take trades
  15. I would check everything including every inch of wire.....I have seen flattened / pinched speaker wire and RCA cable cause noise it's strange the way you say the noise comes with touching the head unit buttons.... that really makes no sense and almost sounds like there is an internal problem
  16. you need to drill a hole in a place where you can get a nut and washer on the other side... before you drill make shure it is a clean spot away from wiring , fuel lines exc.... personally I would make the shop fix it....... they should have done that in the first place with that abortion of a ground and the hissing noise you are talking about I would also be worried about the quality of the rest of the install and how it is set up.......
  17. it's so easy a cave man could do it these are Star Washers.... get good heavy duty ones that dig into the metal with out flattening
  18. that's a SHITTY ground......get rid of those screws....... scrape off the paint use a nut , bolt and star washers so you can tighten it up properly if a shop did this tell them I said they suck ass and should be ashamed of themselves...... that is a red neck short cut and a half and should be fixed
  19. these components are very good for the price....crystal clear and you can feel the mid bass they can swallow TONS of power , I'm running a Soundstream REF 2.640 bridged (640w rms ) per channel and they take it no problem https://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=9&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjP5I6-wqXMAhXHsYMKHXnGDe0QFghAMAg&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FJBL-C608GTi-mkII-GTi-Series-6-1-2-6-3-4-2-way-Component-Car-Speakers-System-%2F301693257673&usg=AFQjCNGTTK1JdEd1zjwqkHvde17dspNiJg
